  • Top of the line motherboard with features to back the claim!
Fantastic Motherboard, top of the line specs and features. The customizable LCD screens are surprisingly high quality. Flash Bios works flawlessly. Instead of a 7-digit LCD, the large LCD screen on the top left (removable EZ Bridge) acts as a debug code display, with a QR code link to a debug page. One of the easiest BIOS interfaces to work with. Motherboard has a clean look with well-though header placement. Honestly, it's complete overkill, and I love it! ... show more

  • Bad Motherboard in a little over 30 days
Amazon and MSI Review Amazon Review: 1) Ordered this mid November. Amazon did not ship until the end of December. Amazon lost the package. Ordered another one in January and did not ship to mid-month. Amazon had a delivery of January 17. It arrived a couple of days late but Amazon registered as lost. I contacted them to tell them it was late. I started to have problems with the product and wanted a replacement. Amazon said no because it was after the expected delivery date. MSI - 2) Been communicating with MSI for troubleshooting. They want me to send the motherboard for RMA. 1100$ motherboard and a little over a month, and already have to send for replacement. Looks like a lot of people are having problems with this product on the forums. I think I will stop buying high ticket PC products with Amazon. This will probably me first and last MSI motherboard. ... show more

  • I like it alot
"I couldn't be happier with the MSI MEG X870e Godlike motherboard. The build quality is absolutely outstanding, with attention to detail that truly sets it apart. It feels durable and premium, as one would expect from a high-end product. What really makes this motherboard stand out is its exceptional design. Unlike many others, it does not compromise on PCI lanes for M.2 slots and the primary graphics card. This means I can fully utilize my setup without sacrificing performance, which is a major plus for enthusiasts and professionals alike. The only drawback is the price—it is definitely on the higher end. However, for those looking for a top-tier motherboard that delivers unmatched performance and doesn't cut corners, it's worth the investment. Overall, an excellent product that lives up to its 'Godlike' name." ... show more

  • Excellent card but cannot run 4 sticks DDR5 at rated speed.
This is a very heavy card, solid construction. The MSI website shows 4 stick DDR5 ram tested by manufactures that you cannot buy the ram from. My 4 sticks DDR5 ram (128GB) only run at the standard speed not rated. If you buy this motherboard plan on using 2 sticks of ram to run at rated speed. There are 5 m2 slots, but I only used 3 to avoid resource sharing issues (slots 1,3,and 5). If you use pci2, pci1 will run at 8x and not 16X. Read the manual ahead of time to avoid resource sharing slow down issues. I love the included internal LCD screen for troubleshooting. The bios flash was very easy. All said, the new video editing PC runs very well. I was very annoyed (and surprised) by the DDR5 issues. I wonder if an intel build works better with 4 sticks of DDR5 running at rated speed. ... show more

  • Great board if you only want your build to work for 30 days
Like many others, the board worked great for ~30 days. Then the EZ-Bridge started constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. Then the onboard USB headers quit working. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this board. For the price it should be rock solid. It isn't.

  • Great motherboard but with bugs
NOTE: I bought this through another vendor. The most capable x870e motherboard, but with bugs. I bought this because it was the only (at the time) x870e motherboard that would enable me to run two PCIe m.2 drives at 5.0 x4 with my GPU at 5.0 x16. No other motherboard allowed this due to lane sharing limitations. MSI was able to do it by giving the option of disabling USB 4.0 to allocate those lanes to an extra m.2 slot instead of USB. I dont care about USB 4.0, so this is perfect for me. The issue is all x870e and x670e MSI motherboards have a bug with the m.2_1 slot in which they do not consistently run at PCIe 5.0 mode. Upon waking from sleep, new startups, or restarts, the motherboard seems to completely ignore your settings and randomly runs that m.2_1 slot at a different, slower speed. Most often PCIe1.0 mode. Every other m.2 slot works fine. MSI seems to be aware of the issue and is working on a fix. If they are able to fix it I will update this review. But this is a major con for me considering the reason I bough this board was to run two NVMe drives in 5.0 mode and this bug prevents that. So, hopefully they fix it soon. Otherwise, its a great motherboard. I have not had the issues others mentioned with the digital display. ... show more
