I ordered this laptop through Amazon after reading favorable reviews online. When I opened it up, plugged it in and try to fire it up for the first time, nothing happened. I called MSI customer support and they had me try doing a factory reset twice. Still nothing. I apparently missed some reviews online which warned about this type of thing happening with this particular machine. A brand new laptop should not have this kind of problem, which makes me wonder how reliable it really would be if it worked. I am returning it and recommend that potential buyers stay away from this product. ... show more

Ordered a new unit to get a flawless looking laptop but it was very disappointing to see these imperfections right away. • Checked the exhaust vent and there was particles of dust all the way inside the unit that my camera couldn't focus on. • The left hinge had a weird marking that wouldn't go away when wiped by microfiber cloth. • Two scratches at the bottom that are not in contact with the box. Just be wary when you buy brand new units and make sure you have a flashlight with you to see if there are minor imperfections in your order. The laptop I got came in fully drained but I did not bother plugging it in (did not even unbox the charger) due to the alarming signs of wear on it. Will reorder this laptop because I really want to own one, maybe I just got unlucky. Shop wisely folks! I hope this help raise awareness :) ... show more
