I purchased this wheelchair primarily to use when away from home and I haven't had occasion to do that yet. So this review doesn't cover using it in that way. But to my delight, this wheelchair is handy and easy to maneuver and I am using it much more than I expected. I am a 93 year old woman, live in a senior independent living facility, and I can use it to go the quarter mile from my cottage to the clubhouse. While there I no longer must struggle with my scooter and/or walker and am better able to stay out of other people's way. I receive may complements on it's looks and size. It doesn't resemble a conventional wheelchair, but is smaller and sleek looking. Except that the the controller is a bit in the way, it is comfortable when sitting at a table. When it was brand new I had a bit of trouble with the gears on a rear wheel connecting and was concerned when I had to contact Freewink using email. But the company contacted me quickly and offered solutions including a free replacement. The problem was easily solved and I have had no further problems. I hope that I am as pleased when I can try it away from my home community. This electric, foldable, lightweight wheelchair is worth serious consideration if you are a prospective buyer. I am glad that I have mine.

It works great for my parents during the whole month’s European trip. No problem among the airports with that capacity of battery. It also works on the ice cave in Top of Europe Jungfraujoch. Airports need to check the user manual. It fits in the medium size rental car on top of the luggage case after folding it. Highly recommended!

Since I am an engineer,I want to make sure that what I buy meets my expectations and needs.I did a lot of research before purchasing the EW209-YK electric wheelchair.I spent several weeks researching the electric wheelchairs currently on the market.Although it is not cheap, it is really worth the money and it is a worthwhile investment. It is very practical and easy to use.I can make the wheelchair come to me through the Bluetooth remote control of the remote control.I really like the small turning radius of the wheelchair because I was worried about navigating in tight spaces at first.Since I use it more in restaurants and small spaces, I soon realized that this would not be a problem.From the video I uploaded, you can see that the remote control is very sensitive to the direction.In addition to spinning in place, the steering of the remote control is almost completely in line with the rotation of the wheels.It is also smooth to drive on the grass.I changed to a concrete ground to try to go uphill.You can see that the uphill ability is also good. As you can see in the picture, it fits easily into the trunk of my car. I also like the way the wheelchair is charged. You can charge it through the controller or remove the battery from the wheelchair. Removing and installing the battery is a very simple process.It is not like traditional wheelchairs that require troublesome disconnection of wires. I didn't expect so much flexibility. 2 batteries also greatly improved my range. This is one of the best designed electric wheelchairs I have seen on the market, not only practical but also with a cool look of all carbon fiber, my family members love it and many friends asked me where I bought it hhhh..... I'll probably continue to update this post if I get a chance to travel with it.

This chair is a winner! Beautifully made and quality all around. Carbon Fiber is the way to go.. lightweight and so easy to handle. Ample seat with 2 batteries that make you feel safer anywhere you want to go.. Remote helps hands rest in lap or have caregiver ‘take the wheel’…..it’s just the best there is. Price is really good for the quality. Customer service has been very attentive. They are there for you!

Took my grandma and her FreeWink chair to Europe and it was flawless! Super easy to carry, the remote is sensitive, I can control grandma's driving without worrying about danger, and it folds up easily. Battery life all day, highly recommended!
