Just got this laptop today runs most demanding games at 100fps+!! League of Legends and any low demand games run like butter! Heat is great but wouldn’t hurt to get a cooling pad! Also this product title says 9th gen but it came with 10th gen i7 and a 1tb HDD as well as the 500gb ssd!

Great laptop so far(1 month). I have been playing games on max settings with zero issues and its been flawless with work software. I heard complaints about the fan noise in which I found nothing to complain about unless you have dog hearing, especially with your game volume on. I also heard about issues with the placement of the finger pad, which again I have no issues with but that's just me. there is also an option to turn it off, which I did because I never use a finger pad. I like the different options of charging you can choose from. You can either have it charge all the way, charge to 80% or keep it low around 50% to balance out the battery life. What I dislike is the fact that when I play any game, the charger doesn’t keep the charge of the laptop. The laptop begins to deplete battery life. Got this compiter for 3D modeling. Works great. Just haven’t figured out how to increase battery life. Running on just web service, it only lasts about an hour.

So I purchased this laptop, A GE75 Raider 287, but after having played around with it for a bit, i noticed that the laptop that came in was a GE75 Raider 9SE. Checking it out, i found that my computer didn't have just the 512GB SSD, but also had a 1TB HDD installed too--which coincides with what the Raider 9SE specs says. I'm fairly certain this was an accident, but seeing as the laptops seem identical in their specs aside from the addition of a HDD, i don't really know. My only complaint is that the laptop has entered a hibernation mode a few times (4 times if i remember correctly) but i have sleep and screen blackout options both on never, the computer certainly wasn't too hot, and i didn't have anything magnetic near the corners that could trigger it into thinking i closed it. Once I get that solved, I think everything will be fine. ... show more

This computer was great & exactly what I wanted for about two months, but now every time I try to use it, it's almost guaranteed to go into hibernate mode randomly. I thought it was just when I was playing videogames (which is what I bought this model of laptop for) but it just turned itself off while I was trying to open Amazon to type this review. It shuts off when trying to connect with wifi, also; basically, it encounters an issue every time I try to do anything. Is there anything I can do? An exchange for a new one or something? This is terrible. It also has had a single dead pixel on the screen since I got it, which I thought I could live with, but the dead pixel plus the crashing is too much. I am really disappointed. I usually don't spend this much on a laptop, but I wanted a solid gaming computer. Help me!! ... show more

Good laptop for everyday use. Ok for gaming. Plays games on high settings with high FPs but it gets uncomfortably hot on keyboard and fan gets loud. If you can overlook a loud fan and hot keyboard this in a good laptop. After having this for over 3 months I have to say I really like this laptop. I got used to the heat when playing games. It is very light to carry around. Speakers are good for a laptop. It plays games at 1080p great. Beautiful LCD and very bright. Great editing and gaming laptop. ... show more

So far so good.. boots in less than 10 seconds, and doesn’t even get very how when playing VR. This is my second MSI gaming laptop, would definitely recommend.
