  • Amazing card for 1440p gaming
Yes its probably overpriced but I waited long enough to upgrade and its still cheaper than getting a whole new system. I upgraded from a gtx 1080 and im still running an i74770k. I was very close to just getting a whole new system but decided to just upgrade my card instead and im very glad I did. I game in 3440x1440p and this card runs anything I throw at it with max settings. Im even able to run cyberpunk with Ray tracing on and still get 80+ fps and I was not expecting to be able to do that but because I can now enable DLSS frame generation its possible. Im very happy with this card. I can easily go another couple of years at least with this. Its also a much smaller form factor than my huge gtx 1080 which for me is a major plus. Its much easier to fit in the case and because of this greatly helps airflow and holy crap its super quiet even on full load. If you're on the fence between this and just a regular 4070 trust me get the Ti version if for no other reason than it opens up more graphical settings options than are unavailable on the none Ti version of this card. This is also my first MSI I've always gone for Zotac. I still love zotac cards but I have to say I'm am incredibly impressed with msi as well now. I have no complaints. Overclocking was incredibly easy with msi afterburner and I was actually able to max out the mem clock on this card and still remain stable after hours of playing. Thats pretty incredible to me I've never been able to do that before with any other card so color me impressed. TLDR: good card, easy overclock, games play on ultra settings in 1440p, small form factor, quit, powerful. ... show more

  • Quiet, great performance, small form factor but not cheap!
I bought this graphics card for my older PC, a Dell xps 8930. The original GPU was a Dell OEM GTX 1060. I decided to upgrade it to a modern GPU that can handle more demanding games and after weeks of research I found this card. First I upgraded my PSU to Seasonic FOCUS Plus 850 Gold. The rtx 4070 ti ventus 2x is very quiet, and fits very well inside my small case. It has added more pressure on my older CPU (i7-8700) and by far that has been the only drawback. It handles 1080 and 1440 games very well (even on my system) and the performance on 4K settings is acceptable (at least for me - for most games that I play fps reaches 50-60 on 4K). The price is a little bit high but I think I can keep it for at least 5 years and use it on a new PC with better air flow and CPU. I have been watching the CPU and GPU temps and I didn't notice any issue with GPU temperature but my CPU needs to throttle under higher pressure. Under regular work load GPU fans aren't even spinning. Overall if you have a smaller case and looking for a high end GPU, this could be your choice, but if you have enough room and air flow , go for a 3 fan model or even rtx 4080/4090. ... show more

  • Excellent graphics card for VR
I bought this to be able to run DCS World in VR on my Quest 3 and it runs is flawlessly on high settings. I am sure I can get more out of it tweaking the graphics settings but for now it does exactly what I need it to which is provide a crystal clear, smooth image in VR. I don't really care about extreme FPS and ray tracing so this is perfect for my needs, plus $1800+ for a 4090 is absolutely nuts. My system specs are as follows(for those who may be interested in DCS) Ryzen 9 7900x3d, 64 GB DDR5 6000, 1TB M.2 NVME Gen 5 Pcie and this 4070ti. ... show more

  • A good card at premium price
In terms of performance, it's wholly acceptable. In terms of price for performance, not so much. It was intentionally hobbled by NVidia so not to compete with it's even more expensive brethren, so the bus bandwidth is extremely limited. That being said, performance generally comes close to an older 3080-3090. I also REALLY appreciate the comparatively small size of this card - the 40xx line is known for enormous coolers and high power draw. This card is a relatively small 2-slot, 2-fan model that will fit in many more cases than the rest. But I haven't had any issues with overheating or anything else, which implies to me that most of the larger cards cooling systems are substantially over-engineered... ... show more

  • Great Card
This card is QUIET, Performance is comparable to a RTX 3090ti . This card actually beats the 3090ti by a little good amount. Paired with a 5800X3D and 32GB Ram it handles anything I throw at it. It’s targeted for 1440p but I’m using it on a 1080P monitor and it literally can handle any game you throw at it. Frame generation is a game changer for single player games too. Kind of even makes the RTX 4060 , 4060 ti and 4070/Super cards worth it too if I’m keeping it a buck. ... show more

  • 4070 TI
So finally I found a card that can fit in my computer that have great specs that I wanted. Install was easy, the card came with everything. I wasn't sure if it came with the power adapter, but it did. It uses less power than my old 2080 Super, because my goal was to further lower my pc temp, here in Hawaii temps goes crazy if you're in a house without central air all the time. Other than that I have no complaints with all most games on ultra settings or on high frame rates. ... show more

  • Working Fine, but EXCESSIVE coil whine.
This GPU works great, but there is excessive coil whine. My son can't stand the constant buzzing. We probably just received a bad one. It plays all my games at MAX though.
