  • Nice computer but not enough RAM and defective mouse
Very nice computer but I do not think 16 gig of RAM matches the processor. Should come with 32 gig of RAM or at least offer as an option at time of purchase. I upgraded mine to 64 gig of RAM. The mouse was ok at first but failed to work properly after about 6 weeks. I tried the mouse on a different computer where it did not function properly either. ... show more

  • As the saying goes, if it looks too good to be true...
Have had MSI laptops for over a decade at this point, never had major issues so skeptically trusted the brand going forward. Which was great because everything on the specs for this computer looked great for the price. $1349 at time of purchase, basically 150-200 less than every other brand of pc that had the same specs. But this computer seems riddled with random little issues. Right away noticed there's a poorly manufactured fan blade, which causes the fan to be out of balance and reverberate a constant annoying vibration hum, which of course only amplified by the case. If that wasn't had enough, the second day I had it it blue screened on start up. Now almost constantly if I try to open File Explorer that crashes which then crashes windows entirely requiring a hard shutdown. Try to update it further, blue screens more lmao. So...yeah needless to say happy to be returning this, and quickly, before any other issues crop up from this thing. ... show more

  • Meets My Expectations, One Super Annoying Thing
The super annoying thing: Windows wouldn’t update. It needed to, but failed every time after trying for 20 minutes. When I did some digging I figured out the image was bad and wasn’t installed correctly. The first thing you’ll need to do is a full Windows reset, and instruct it to download a new uncorrupted image (it’s easy, Windows will walk you through it if you don’t know how). This will fix it, but it’ll need to run about 2 hours. The quality of the build is decent, mid-low fans, has plenty of ports on front/back, and was easier than dealing with building it myself. It’s not loud, but it never really idles down to whisper quiet. It doesn’t bother me at all while gaming, but it would still like to browse the web sometimes without a fan blowing. The RGB can cycle through around 9 patterns, including pulsing and solid, but cannot be turned off. The included software for the RGB doesn’t seem to work. I have an older ultra wide monitor (3440x1440 75hz) and the 4070s easily pushes games at high quality. In games that are easy to run like Destiny 2 or No Man’s Sky, it can run at around 240fps, though I cap it because it exceeds what my monitor can show. Overall I think I’d buy it again, given the price. Edit: Even without the software, the RGB can be disabled by holding down the RGB button on the case until the lights turn off! That was a super welcome surprise. I've had the PC for about a month and a half and still enjoying it. Don't let the initial setup problems scare you, it's. a good PC. ... show more

  • Not recommend
This is the bad experiment for two months. Not recommend. 1. PC is fast and quiet. 2. It comes with a DP cable, but when I watch Netflix with LG monitor (32GN63T), it totally cannot display properly. Finally, I had to get a new HDMI cable to resolve this issue,12USD gone. 3. CPU fan died in two months. WHAT?! this is the quality you paid for more than 1500 USD! So, I contacted the service Dept of MSI, and was told to creative an RMA, but so disappointed for the service. You had to ship the product back and customer has to paid for it EVEN THOUGH it is still in WARRANTY. And it takes more than 2 to 3 weeks to fix this SIMPLE issue, it is crazy! Why they can't just send me a new FAN, I can replace it easily, or why customer can't drop it off as my home is only miles away from their office (City of industry, CA). I don't think this is an acceptable service. Waite time and money! 4. Quality of mouse is bad. 5. Only two memory slots and comes with 8 X2 GB, not friendly for updating to 32GB. ... show more

  • The computer they sold me was defective!
The computer they sold me was horrible. it turns out the Intel 13th and 14 Generations have issues. Do not buy a computer from this horrible company. They had to know this was and issue and still charged me a resocking fee for a faulty computer. Be aware they will charge a resotcking fee know matter how you return it. Amazxon should be ashamed to allow this company to sell on here! They are shameful! ... show more
