This waterfall is pretty cool. It’s practically self-explanatory to put it together. An easily understood sheet of instructions, hints and cautions is included. It arrives in two pieces, the rock formation and the electric cord. Part of the electric cord has an attached cable to connect to the LED light. The light is already in place, push the cable into its cord, screw it in tightly so the protective piece over the top of the connection can keep water out. The other end attaches to the water tube by pushing it into place in the pump. Put the pump assembly inside the fountain, add water and plug it in. At the very top is a plastic pot with a thick cotton cord in the center. This extends through a hole in the bottom to wick the water into the pot, where a plant can be added. I pulled the wick from the water area & placed it in the planter as I plan to put a faux plant in there. I won’t leave this running all the time, so I’d probably forget there was something in there that I need to keep watered. PROS: ***simple, understated design ***easy to assemble ***decent instructions ***can grow real plants but faux work, too ***nice waterfall sound ***addition of LED light adds a nice touch ***the quality is good and priced fair for what you get CONS: ***I wish it was bigger but it’s 10 x 5.5 x 5.5—a bit smaller in the base than advertised ... show more

This little fountain is great. The real thing is slightly different in color than the picture, and the light isn’t as bright as the picture would lead you to believe, but the overall look is accurate and it works well. It’s easy to assemble (connect the pump to the hose and power) and easy to setup. The planter on top where you plant your plant had a nice feature that I didn’t see in the picture or description. There is a wick that sits in the water tank and pulls water up to inside the planter. This has the benefit of always keeping your plant watered as long as there is water in the tank. If you have a plant that doesn’t need moist soil, then you may want to take the wick out, or if you have the right sized pot, use your own. I thought it was a nice addition. ... show more

    • Very cute
The media could not be loaded. Works very well. Has a strong sound of flowing water. The design is cute and simple. It is tricky to drain. Cleaning out loose material before use or just for maintenance it is difficult to get anything out as the water avoids the raised holes.

The media could not be loaded. What a great find! It's relatively small footprint (6x6) makes it convenient to place anywhere you'd like. The color is slightly more green than grey, as though mimicking the patina that copper gets. Easy setup (just connecting the pump and the cord to the light (don't miss the piece that screws over the joint for the light connection to help keep it sealed - that had slid down to where the wire connected to the pump in my case), add water, plug in and go! I look forward to adding a small plant and appreciate the thoughtfulness of the fabric cord that will draw water up into that pot and keep the plant hydrated. The color of the light is gorgeous and it reflects beautifully off of the fountain wall as the water flows down. It has a strong pump and so it was a tiny bit louder than I had expected - more running stream than babbling brook - but still relaxing.     • Relaxing Fountain With Unique Features
I like relaxing, Zen type of home furnishings and thought this one seemed unique. It's very easy to set up. You simply connect the pump to the hose and the LED power source. After that, you just fill the reservoir with water, plug it in, and it starts the fountain. It looks really pretty with a relaxing sound. The coolest feature is that you can put a plant on top and keep it watered through a cotton cord that runs to the top. This definitely makes the fountain a little more unique than most. ... show more

The fountain cable connection instructions are confusing but they're pretty straight forward if you know what you're doing. I gave this 1 star however because my machine came cracked on the back due to manufacturing and I water leaks. Not a large amount but overtime it creates a puddle.
