This is a great mister. The nozzles do clog up a lot and you will have to soak them to clean them. I would buy it again but not with the timer. I would buy a smart timer instead and plug it into that which gives you more options. Over all, this is a fantastic mister.

It works fantastic for my turtle enclosure. I don't have it turned on all the time. But sometimes he likes it. It's almost like it's a rainy night. When I turn it on I have these lights that are dim. But didn't they kind of flicker like a thunderstor he really thinks it's fun. He plays in the rain whenever I turn it on. Great product for the price. I bought this for my chameleons, I have only had one other mister before and this one is far better! This kit comes with everything you need to cut to size, assemble, secure and program!! The instructions are clear and easy to understand and it's really not that hard to figure out the timer/clock schedule for the system. I got this not for reptiles, but for plants. The timer lets me set when it comes on, for how long, and it'll take up to 12 events. So I can have 12 mistings, 1 per hour, during a 12 hour photoperiod. Which saves me from visiting my plants every hour or 2 to hand-spray them. This one came with 2 nozzles, but the pump says it'll do up to 8, so you can add more nozzles to this setup to expand it by quite a bit, if you want. There's no reservoir included, but you can use just about anything, from a mason jar to a 5 gallon bucket. One thing to watch out for. The instructions say, in a few places, NOT to plug the power supply into the spot the pump plugs in, or you'll burn it out. I would heed those warnings. I question how much sense it makes to use the same plug for both outlets, when the designer of this could have EASILY just used a different plug, so plugging in the wrong one would be impossible. In fact, I deducted a star from the score for this design flaw. It shouldn't be like this, and it should be changed. Aside from having to watch very carefully that you don't plug the wrong thing into the wrong place (ugh), this is a fine setup for plant misting. Also, for lizards. But for me, for plant misting. Guys, change one of those plugs out so somebody doesn't fry his equipment because of a simple mistake. 4 of 5 stars. ... show more

As a single parent, I was having a hard time keeping the humidity up in my kiddo’s frog habitat…. This has fixed the issue and taken one chore off mamas list every day! A gallon milk jug works wonderfully as a water reservoir!!!

This is a really nice kit, with a very strong and quiet pump that produces good pressure & flow. The misters are pretty standard and produce a fine mist and are positionable in most any way. The timer control unit is easy to use and since it's separate from the pump itself is easy to place in a convenient location.
