I think 10 papers at a time is what was advertised. It does do it, but you need to be firm and keep the plastic guard on top, firmly positioned on the paper as you bring the blade down, and the blade needs to be hugging the cut base for a straight cut without it grabbing the paper at the end of the cut and making you go back and recut.

I purchased this because I just bought a sublimation printer and need it to cut sublimation paper. This is perfect. I also like the safety feature on it because knowing me I would leave it open and cut off a finger. I definitely recommend this product.

I'm a no-frills kinda guy. I sought out a paper cutter that was bare-bones in functionality, because all I really needed to do was cut standard sheets of paper in half to support my online sales. This paper cutter wins in nearly every aspect of what I need; it's fairly compact, it's easy to use, and it's lightweight. Unfortunately, the one place I need stellar performance above all else is *actually cutting paper*, and this thing is mediocre at best in that department. It works, technically, but the cuts aren't clean and the paper is often left looking frayed where it was cut. I don't think I'll be buying a replacement anytime soon, as it's good enough for what I need, but I also can't recommend this to anyone.
