This is a pretty good paper cutter. I've had it occasionally snag and ruin a cut, but once I got used to it's quirks, it works pretty well. The size it nice and it's worth it if you aren't cutting huge amount of papers that often.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the Firbon A4 12-inch paper cutter to help prepare games and activities for a baby shower I was hosting, and it worked perfectly! I had a lot of sheets to cut into smaller cards, and this cutter made the job fast, easy, and super clean. The cuts were straight and precise every time, and it was much quicker than using scissors. One thing I really appreciated is that my kids were able to help me with the cutting, and I felt comfortable letting them use it. The design is very safe — the blade is sharp enough to cut paper cleanly but covered enough that I didn’t worry about anyone getting hurt. It’s lightweight but feels sturdy, and the clear measurement guide made lining things up simple, even when cutting smaller pieces. Plus, it’s portable and easy to store when you’re done. Overall, it saved me so much time and stress — highly recommend for party prep, crafts, or any paper projects!

I guess the blade is titanium, but the rest of it is 100% plastic, and it feels cheap. Not only isn't the plastic ridged, the ruler that holds the cutting blade has some play in it too. Since the blade is held in a groove, I don't think it affects cutting much. As long as you got a nice flat table to operate it on it isn't really a problem, and the blade runs smooth on the track without any jerkiness. Even just setting it on my leg I was able to get a clean cut on 250gram glitter paper. I decided to give it 5 stars because it was only $10 and it does the task I bought it for. The blade is good, and they didn't cheap out there, it cuts smooth and glides smooth. It just isn't "over engineered", if you want something that is going to cut through CD's and that you can pass on to your grandkids, or even something that won't break if you drop it, then you probably want to look elsewhere and spend more money. But if you are trying to cut out a few business yourself, this will do that, and probably just as well as the $25 brand name one that is also just made out of plastic. It just would have been nice if they made it a little less "flimsy" feeling.
