Unsafe design. For some reason the underside of the blade is still exposed when it's in the closed position, making it very easy to cut yourself when handling it since one would assume there is not an exposed blade when the darn thing is closed. I cut myself quite badly taking it out of storage due to not realizing this despite deliberately being cautious with it and almost cut myself again yesterday in the same way. The "catch" that is meant to hold the blade in the closed position when not in use is also very flimsy, and jostling the device at all can dislodge it, leaving the blade bouncing around. It does cut fine but I absolutely would not purchase again and would be reluctant even to give it away.

Very lightweight and portable though sharpening the blade isn’t fun and the handle at the end of the cutter is plastic, hollow and feels like could at times easily get broken off which hasn’t yet so stronger than the end handle added to the cutter

I bought this so I could get clean lines when cutting my sublimation transfer paper. For the price this was honestly really great, while it lasted. I had it for roughly a year but only used it a handful of times, then one day I went to use it and the arm broke off entirely. I’d expect something like that if I was using it daily, or more than a handful of times. But it honestly was not used that often and I usually only cut one piece at a time but didn’t cut more than 3-4 pieces of paper at a time. The plastic holding the arm is cheap and just not cut out for the movement. Overall, for the price I can’t complain because before it broke it worked great. But just know that you run the risk of the arm breaking off since the plastic is cheap.
