Good as far as WiFi Landscape Bulbs Go
I have tried almost a dozen different landscape lighting options so far, and these are the second best out there of what I have tried. Though these are excellent, you may want to check a similar offering from Makergroup here on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DTKCKQMH) before settling on these, as the colors in the Makergroup bulbs are around twice as bright with similar WiFi range and saturation, but they will draw 20% more power at 6W vs the 5W draw of these, so just make sure you have the headroom with your transformer if you go with the 6W after looking at 5W. The brightness and saturation on these are on par with other 4W-5W MR16 bulbs I have tried, as is the WiFi range of around 30 feet or so inside of Volt Fat Boy Mini brass housings. I have tried others with worse WiFi, but have yet to try any that are better in this particular form factor. Some others I have tried include Hamilton Bay Integrated WiFi smart lights that were way too dim, Dicuno WiFi bulbs that had terrible unusable range, Beamlux Bluetooth bulbs that were very bright because they had almost no color saturation, Noobibaba Bluetooth bulbs that were not bright enough, Zuckeo and Doreio remote only integrated lights that were not at all waterproof despite their clearly false claims, and a few other remote only bulbs that lacked the convenience of full color control via an app. These are good if you have a decent router/mesh system to connect them and will be using them close enough to the house (30 feet or so max for me) to not have connectivity issues or don't mind walking around to control them via Bluetooth for the ones that don't quite reach the WiFi, and for some reason do not want the brighter Makergroup bulbs. Both these and Makergroup use the same app and can be combined in groups together for ease of control if you end up mixing and matching as I did to try these out. ... show more

WiFi Connectivity Issues
The ability of these bulbs to connect to WiFi is poor. I have several of them in 12 volt landscaping lights which are approximately 25 feet from my router and they just don’t have a consistent connection. The saving grace is that they will work via Bluetooth if you’re right next to them. They work fine with a 12 volt transformer and go on and off with the timer just like the regular non WiFi lights. It’s just that I have to use Bluetooth to change their color. That aside, they work well, offer a multitude of colors and are pretty bright. ... show more

Do Not Waste Your Money if you Want WiFi Connectivity
Absolute garbage. I have several devices which run on the SmartLife and Toya apps and none of them have the same issues these lights do. I have never gotten them to connect to WiFi and the Bluetooth is constantly buggy also. I 100% know what I'm doing and these will not work at all. My biggest regret is giving them the benefit of the doubt and letting it get to 33 days since purchase so I cannot return them. ... show more

Mission accomplished
Works fine. They get a little hot which may impact their longevity. The wireless range seems a bit limited even with a high-end mesh network. Overall, mission accomplished. I can change the light color via my phone app.

Great color changing bulbs.
This review is for: MR16 Smart Light Bulbs, MR16 LED Bulb Color Changing, Compatible with Alexa Google Assistant, 16 Million Colors RGBCW, WiFi & Bluetooth Light Bulbs, Music Sync, 2-Pack Controlling the color on MR16 is a little more tricky than you might first anticipate. If you are using a remote control, then the remote signal has to be purposely short so that you walk right up to the bulb and change the color. Otherwise you're changing the color on bulbs that you're not intending to and it would be very hard to control the colors on all of the bulbs in your system. This helps fix that. With these, I can just go right into the app and change the color on the bulbs. The colors are excellent in the connectivity to Alexa and Google makes this so much easier and more user friendly. ... show more

Easy set up and work fine with Alexa
I currently have a number of MR16 landscape lights around the front of my house, so these bulbs are a simple replacement. I also have many smart bulbs of the normal 'screw in' variety. Of all the different apps I have managed to collect (or in some cases been forced to collect) I like Smart Life the best. It covers more than half of my smart devices and typically works first time every time. Another big advantage is I never seem to have to 'reload' a device, like I have to do with some other apps. Kudos for using Smart Life. These loaded into the app right away, and since Smart Life is already an enabled skill in my Alexa app they connected to that automatically and work as they should. Bulbs are pretty bright, and I love that I can tune the white color to match my other outdoor lighting. Beside normal dusk to dawn, I also have several routines for various holidays on my other bulbs (St Patrick's, Halloween, Christmas etc.), so will add these to the routines to make holiday decorating that much simpler. Great bulbs - bright and work great with automation! ... show more

Not sure how to use it
I can’t figure out how to use these. I’ve never seen a bulb like this before. So I feel it’s kinda confusing. I gave it three stars because if I knew how it worked it’s probably a good product. I have to do some googling to understand it.

Not UL or ETL listed. Fit well in my outdoor fixtures and provide a good light pattern
Not UL or ETL listed. Fit well in my outdoor fixtures and provide a good light pattern. The WiFi connectivity is a challenge even with having an outdoor access point but I did get it to work satisfactorily. I use the Smart Life app for multiple other RGB light fixtures and it is easy to set up and use. Once the bulbs connected to the WiFi, the app easily discovered them and let me do the configuration. These compact RGB lights are pricey - from any brand or manufacturer and these are no different. Longevity in the elements of the Midwest is TBD. One star off for lack of UL/ETL listing. ... show more
