I threw out my old couch just like I did my husband and invested in this majestic beauty. Boy, was it worth it! Just like my ex-husband tarnished our dreams of a happy marriage, so did the previous couch that we had. It was huge (like him), too full (like him), lumpy (like him), stayed soft (like him), and just all around not a good fit.... you guessed it... LIKE HIM... This couch is AMAZING. The first thing that interested me in this sofa was knowing that Mr. Kate spent hours and hours designing, creating, and testing her furniture over and over again until she got the perfect fit. I fully trust her instinct and her design, but I was a bit iffy buying a cheap couch off the internet. The second thing that got my attention was the price. I am so happy that Mr. Kate had everyday people in mind when releasing it. I just moved and the couch I had wouldn't fit through the front door of my new apartment, so I had to quickly sell it (it was sitting in the back of my building with snow underneath it) and find a new one ASAP. Obviously I wasn’t planning for this to happen, so I had to be strict with my budget. I didn’t want to spend weeks looking for the perfect couch either because I had already moved in all my other belongings and was living without a couch. When I came across Mr. Kate’s new line of furniture, I was stunned at how nice they all looked. I was afraid the quality seen in the photos online would not translate to real life, but if anything, the pictures don’t do this couch justice! It is so much better than I expected. I love the building aspect of the design, especially considering what happened with my last couch. It took hardly 20 minutes for the two of us to put it together, the steps were simple and it came together easily. The couch is so comfortable, the fabric is soft, the legs are sexy, and the color is EVERYTHING (it has a slightly stronger green tint than the pictures show, which I expected since it’s advertised as a “green” sofa ). I am going to recommend this couch to everyone I know. I love this couch! It’s really pretty in person (it’s a green blue but not super loud) and it’s comfortable. If you’re shorter you can probably sleep on it comfortably. I bought some throw pillows to make it super comfy but the cushions alone are nice too. It’s really your preference in firmness. It’s not squishy but that’s good because it’ll last longer but it’s also not super firm. I’d say it’s a happy medium. I sit on my new couch and work all day. It’s a pleasant addition to my living room. My dogs love it and so do I. I couldn’t ask for a better couch for my little living space. Thanks for creating this magical couch!! :) ... show more

I wish I had the words to describe the perfection of this piece. I'm a huge fan of Mr Kate so I knew it would be good but holy mackerel I'm so blown away. This couch is everything. They could easily charge 2-3x more but I'm endlessly thankful that they kept the everyday person in mind with the price point. The media could not be loaded. So impressed with this emerald green couch! Always wanted to decorate my house with earth detaes and this couch goes perfect with it. Nice and sturdy strong easy to assemble. You won’t regret it!
