This couch is AMAZING. The first thing that interested me in this sofa was knowing that Mr. Kate spent hours and hours designing, creating, and testing her furniture over and over again until she got the perfect fit. I fully trust her instinct and her design, but I was a bit iffy buying a cheap couch off the internet. The second thing that got my attention was the price. I am so happy that Mr. Kate had everyday people in mind when releasing it. I just moved and the couch I had wouldn't fit through the front door of my new apartment, so I had to quickly sell it (it was sitting in the back of my building with snow underneath it) and find a new one ASAP. Obviously I wasn’t planning for this to happen, so I had to be strict with my budget. I didn’t want to spend weeks looking for the perfect couch either because I had already moved in all my other belongings and was living without a couch. When I came across Mr. Kate’s new line of furniture, I was stunned at how nice they all looked. I was afraid the quality seen in the photos online would not translate to real life, but if anything, the pictures don’t do this couch justice! It is so much better than I expected. I love the building aspect of the design, especially considering what happened with my last couch. It took hardly 20 minutes for the two of us to put it together, the steps were simple and it came together easily. The couch is so comfortable, the fabric is soft, the legs are sexy, and the color is EVERYTHING (it has a slightly stronger green tint than the pictures show, which I expected since it’s advertised as a “green” sofa ). I am going to recommend this couch to everyone I know. This couch is an excellent value for the money. Like a few others mentioned, there are noticable markings on the two seat cushions, because they are vacuum sealed upon arrival. I've had my couch for almost two weeks now and they are still there, it doesn't bother me too much, but you might not care for it. The seat backs come all nice and fluffy though. It took my son and I literally 5 minutes to put this together and it's held up well so far, even with my 3 grandkids playing on it. It's also comfortable to sit in and very comfortable to lay down on - I'm 5"3" and curl up in it quite nicely! For the price, I think this couch is worth every penny! The color of the green velvet is hard to describe, but it's a little more blue than I thought it would be. I have a teal pillow that I purchased a while ago from Target that matches the color almost perfectly. It's very beautiful but hopefully this helps someone else decide if the color is right for them. Assembling the sofa was easy; I did it alone at midnight in my apartment with no issues! It was VERY heavy to move when in the box though (FYI). I've had the sofa assembled in my apartment for over 1 month now. I've learned to be careful when moving it because if you lift up you can easily move pieces out of place (like the dang bumper on the front....I pull it out every time!). It is becoming a little squeaky in the cushions but the cushions themselves are very firm yet comfortable and the couch feels sturdy when you sit on it. The velcro on the back of the cushions is a little annoying, but it keeps things in place. For the price, size, free delivery, etc this couch is great! I was apprehensive about velvet, as I have two cats and they love perching on the back cushions, but it has actually been better than most fabric couches I've ever owned. ... show more

This sofa is very pretty and it went together very easily. You have to let the cushion set for a full 72 hours and glad we did because they did puff up a little more in that last five or six hours. My only complaint is the sofa is not comfortable. It’s just not built in a way that is comfortable. There’s enough cushion, but it’s somehow the ergonomics of it are just not right and it hurts our backs even just sit on it for a little bit maybe because it’s built more like a bench real straight without much curb. I’m not sure. This would make a great couch in a salon or a business of some kind where you’re not really sitting on it for comfort, but I don’t think it’s great for a private home. ... show more

I love this couch! I did a lot of research and comparing when looking for a couch on Amazon, and I’m pleasantly surprised by this one! It was very firm at first, but after a few weeks it softened up which I prefer. The color is nice, but I got a sofa cover to protect it from my cat. Overall it’s a great purchase. However, when trying to move the couch I pulled from the bottom and part of it came apart. As long as you don’t pull from the beam on the bottom it’s fine, I now move it from the side. ... show more

Got my couch in, no problem. Put it together… again, no problem. All the feet? All the same! There are supposed to be 2 of each facing opposite ways. I got all the same foot facing the same direction (the screw holes were all on the same side and couldn’t be faced in the opposite direction) I tried to call customer service and was directed to go online to the website. Went to the website and customer service doesn’t exist on the website. I tried typing the model number into the parts section of the website and it says it doesn’t exist. So what DOES exist, exactly?! Does my couch exist or is this all part of some Matrix crap?! I’m HEATED. I’ll never order another couch off of Amazon, that’s for sure. ... show more
