One thing to note is that I thought the drawers would go all the way to the middle of the bed but they don't reach that far. So I am a huge fan of Mr.Kate, which is how I got here in the first place. I read some of the bad reviews and was feeling a little indecisive but I decided to give it a shot and I am so happy that I did!!! This bed is exactly what I was looking for. It took about two hours with some help to assemble it but that was just us goofing around too. The instructions are clear and if you follow them thoroughly, there shouldn’t be any issues! SO HAPPY!! The velvet is soft and sexy, the storage is blissfully hidden and the free flowing drawers make it super easy to open and close them! 10/10 ⭐️ ... show more

The other reviews made me paranoid but once I got to putting the bed together it was 2+2. The drawers lock easily and the wheels roll on my shaggy carpet just fine. I put it together alone and it took me a few hours, 2 people it would definitely be light work. Go Mr.Kate!

Super easy to put together, but it did take some time. The drawers slide easily on my thick rug and uses five wheels per drawer. The drawers also hook onto the bed frame so they don’t jostle around freely. They are pretty flimsy, and you probably wouldn’t want anything heavy in there, but otherwise this works great for my two young daughters to sleep on. Hopefully this holds up for us. The only thing that bothered me was the color wasn’t quite as mauve as the pictures show. It’s way lighter. But overall I’m happy with it. ... show more

This was SUPER easy to assemble. Whoever has difficulty assembling this… I worry for them. I did it in an hour and half. It’s super cute and the drawers are so BIG! Comfy material and sturdy. I love it!

The bed is very pretty once assembled. Assembly is not difficult but it takes a very, very long time. I bought this bed specifically for the under bed storage drawers. They're great in that they fit so much but they're SUPER annoying to open and close. They aren't on rails, just on wheels located under them. There is a weird mechanism by which they secure to the bed. You have to push them in all the way (and make sure they're aligned because remember, they aren't on rails attached to the bed) and then sort of lift them so that a little peg goes into a hole in the bed frame, then let it drop down. They don't just open and close easily. Also, the headboard looks great with no pillows on the bed but when you do put pillows on, they pretty much hide the entire thing. The headboard could definitely be a little taller in my opinion. My last criticism is that the underbed drawers extend for the entire length of the bed, which prevents you from being able to have side tables. If you have side tables and want to access the two drawers that are closest to the headboard, you would have to move those side tables each time. Although I did find three things that weren't wonderful about this bed, I will say that it's sturdy and it looks pretty. ... show more
