I wanted an elegant bed that didn’t cost $600+ , and this is exactly what I was looking for! Assembly was easy. It took maybe 40 minutes or so from opening the box to finish (with the help of an impact driver). You’d never guess the price point. Pretty easy to assemble but better with 2 people. We used a 8 inch Zinus mattress on the top and a 6 inch Zinus on the bottom. Fits perfectly! Seems sturdy so far with good quality construction

Perfect for our guests room since we couldn't fit a regular sofa bed through the bedroom door. Only downside is the trundle fits a very thin mattress. We got 8 inches and it's challenging to pull out the trundle. Have to raise the daybed somehow.

One of the frame pieces came bent, so I had to smack it with a hammer until I could screw it in correctly. (which the frustration came in handy for). Attaching the headboard takes patience and maybe 3 people becuase u have to hold it in the air, and screw, and squeeze it tight. The assembly took me and my boyfriend 3 hours becuase we had to take breaks to laugh/groan. When you get to the last step make sure the slat holders don’t need to come back out because they are equivalent to a single use paper plate and break when you take them back out... Luckily I had extras from an old bed frame. Overall it is pretty, but the assembly took away from the beauty. It also got dirty the second I touched it so I wouldn’t recomend the light color in this fabric. ... show more
