The media could not be loaded. Setup of the hardware and software installation only took about 5 minutes. The included instructions give a basic overview of how to start each process, but surely not a comprehensive guide to each and every feature. Following the speed, power, and resolution settings is essential. The M1 version, to my knowledge, has one laser with limited material capabilities. The dual laser setup of the M4 allows for a much wider array. Initially, I thought this might be a sales tactic, buy I tried the beams on materials not listed under their specs. No etching took place. After having a couple years of fun with 3d printing, giving laser etching a shot seemed like a logical progression. Right out of the box, this laser did not work. There was no software, no manual, there’s no support here stateside, everyone has to rely on a Facebook group, I don’t believe anybody in the United States has ever been able to get this product to work on any windows machine. I have wasted days, trying to get this to work, and I’ve been in the computer business for nearly 30 years. Support from the manufacturer is simply nonexistent. ... show more

After assembling the laser and installing the software, it seems that my unit does not display both laser dots to focus. I am not sure if it is a software or hardware issue.
