Its not hard to install but not for the beginner either. I'd say moderate skill level is needed. I found out the Rav 4 has an airbag under the column doing this (lol). Thats the hardest part really is pulling that airbag. But straight forward install. Programming takes a second but works great. Takes a sec to learn the button press timing. Too fast or too slow and it won't do anything. Has to be almost an exact 1 sec interval on the button pressing.

Does exactly what I need it to do. When it's below 40 degrees outside and I want to start my car while getting ready early in the morning, this thing gets it done. I will call out that it takes some getting used to, but once you do it's very easy to use. The install was SUPER easy. I had 1 hour to install it, on my Rav4 (2018) before friends came over my house. I was done and cleaned up within 30 minutes using only a drill and the tool provided in the box. Great product would highly recommend. I've tested this up to 30-40 yards and it turned on the car fine.

Instructions need to be better! Customer service was awesome. Quick response time with helpful information... Other than that would highly recommend. Very easy to install. For 2018 RAV4 push start only use two wires on car to plug in. No cutting wires fast less than 30 mins to install. Works with factory remote. Wife loves it...

Mines a push button start, and the install is literally 2 plugs. Couldn't be easier. Just watch a video on your car's lower dash so you don't miss a bolt or something. I've installed kits like this before and never had a problem. I would recommend this to anyone even slightly mechanically inclined.

Worked like a charm and easy. The only problem that I had was programming. I had to do it about 5 times to get it right. Hint: when it says wait for the lights......wait minutes if you have to. Also, the fuse box that it references is under the drivers dash; not under the left side panel that is removed. Overall easy, and works great. Bonus message - I also bought the range extender which was also easy to install. HOWEVER, it doesn't work very far away. I have the receiver mounted at the top of the windshield. I may move it a little lower to try, but so far I'm not impressed by this separate purchase.

Bought the version with no extra keys thinking the fob would be enough. Never out of range to lock or unlock *usually*. Well, actually now since using it the original fob range is trash! Gonna buy the phone app upgrade. This will still make it cheaper than installing one at a shop! Great otherwise, super easy to install (20min fumbling at night with a phone light ha). Note: once going through the activation procedure - it doesnt say to but you have to turn the car on manually first for it to learn *how* to do it properly. Otherwise you'll just have what looks like a valet mode turn on error.

I was able to install this in 15 minutes with a little help from YouTube on a different brand. The instructions are a little lite and don’t give much detail however once I figured it out, it went very quickly with no issues. I am recommending this to another friend who has a 2015 Toyota RAV4, I highly recommend this product. The range isn’t the greatest but that’s at no fault of the remote starter, it’s the Toyota fob that has a bad range. Toyota wanted $550 to install remote starter this only cost me $149. Great value. I couldn’t reach Tech-Support because I did not call them.

This was easy to install as the dash components come apart easily it just a Philips screw driver and a plastic pry tool. Following the included directions was easy and you MUST make the vehicle connections before connecting the MPC unit. The only confusing part of the directions was the connection to the vehicle ECN unit. The picture in the directions appears to show a plug in that faces the drivers seat however, the plug in location faces the floor of the vehicle. Aside from that it works great. Since this uses your current key FOB, it has the same range. So if you are wondering how far it will work from your vehicle, see how far you can lock your doors right now. I get about 60 yards.
