Was actually on Youtube looking at something else and a vid came up about a guy installing this in his truck in 5 minutes. I was skeptical but I watched the video and then checked out the reviews. The reviews were good and in terms of how difficult it would be to install, it came down to if you've ever installed a car stereo then you can do this. So i ordered one for my wifes car, a 2018 Toyota Camry SE and on a Sunday morning that looked like rain I started to take her dash apart. Check out Youtube for vids on people doing this and that's all you'll need to install this. Taking the dash apart is the most time consuming part of the process. Once I had opened up the dash and the steering wheel to access the plugs (10 minutes) I had the unit plugged in and gave it a test run. It takes a little patience to get the timing right on it but using the existing car fob remote had my wifes car starting from inside the comfort of my nice warm house. It was so easy to do that I bought one for my Highlander and installed it 2 weeks later. The only downside of this system is the range is limited to the distance at which the fob connects to the car, that is the distance at which you can use the starter. So, in the morning when my car is 10 feet away in the driveway, its fine. At work when im inside the building and 100 yards from my car to the security turnstiles it wont work, too far. For the price though you cant beat it and if youre a little bit handy its an easy install. I really got it for the wife but wound up getting one for myself it was so easy.

Amazing, instructions are offered for both video and written with pictures. They’re are easy to follow and the product worked with ease! I had the start X at first but had an issue of getting the T-harness to fit with my manufacture’s console cable. This product fits just fine! The product does also come with a plastic tool to help open your floor board and driver console. The remote start works and I have had any issues with it so far. It has only been a day though.

Pretty simple installation that took about 45 mins total. Works with factory key which is a big plus, only downside is the car shuts off when you open the door. Not a big issue but something to note. For only 100$ you get remote start and can install yourself- that deserves 5 stars.

I’ve never worked on cars and had no problems with the install on my wife’s car (2019 Highlander XLE). The only nerve wracking part is taking apart the steering wheel and dash (was just afraid I’d pull too hard and snap one of the clips). The MPC install video on YouTube is straightforward and made the process pretty easy for the inexperienced - definitely would recommend spending an hour or so doing this install yourself vs spending $600+ for the dealer to do it (think mine would have charged $800+). My one complaint is that this didn’t come with a trim puller even though there is a picture of one in one of the amazon images. Seems like false advertising in my opinion (unless mine was just missing from the box?). That being said, I’m not even sure the trim puller is necessary as I was able to just use a cheap little pry bar to pop off the one piece that needed it. Feels like you could also just do it (carefully) with a flathead screwdriver. Final tip of advice - don’t forget the big 10mm screw holding on the dash. The video goes through that pretty quick and I almost missed it. Definitely need that off to get the dash open!

Absolutely horrible product and horrible customer service I got one last week installed it and it did not work took it to a professional they checked everything I had everything hooked up just right. Just to make sure they unhooked all three hooked it back up still would not work we have a Toyota Highlander 2018 and it says it worked on that. It is not a hybrid either. Hillary returned it not another one received it yesterday I installed it today and it does exact same thing as the other one did. I called for customer support last week left a three messages no one ever bothered to call me back call again today and she said she would have to set up a work order and that they would have to call me back sometime next week because everyone is booked today but they didn’t bother to call me back last week after leaving three messages. Don’t waste your money or your time because you will not get any help from them either

Awesome product! Installed on my 2014 Toyota Highlander. This was so simple to install. The video instructions are very clear. This took me 30 min from start to finish. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. My wife loves the convenience of the remote start and says this was the one thing missing from the car. If you always wanted this option on your Toyota but don’t want to pay the stealership price, well this is the cheapest and easiest option. I was hesitant at first but now I wish I would have purchased this sooner. Don’t hesitate. It is worth every penny in my opinion.
