Physical damage or damage due to improper installation will void the manufacturer's warranty. Within the first year you can contact us for warranty issues. The product must be returned to us at the customer's expense in order for us to perform warranty service. After the first year, warranty issues must be handled directly through the manufacturer. The manufacturer will require a receipt from the original purchase. Product specific warranty information will be included with the product packaging. The hardest part of installation was getting the panels on the car (2012 Ford Fusion) apart without breakage. Wiring up the unit was a snap. Note: Instructions don't tell you that, apparently, if you have a "Check Engine Light" (CEL) on, the car will only run about 30 seconds after remote start then shut off. Clear the codes, and everything's good. (Unless the code comes back...) Nice that you can add on modules for things like cell phone operation and very extended range. I was able to start up "as is" from in front of a store about 100-120 feet from the car. ... show more

It was easy to install and did work but it was very touchy. The car would randomly start from time to time. It was notorious for starting if you hit the lock button with a door open. Plus only way of shutting it off after was to put the key in put the car in gear then back in park then shutting it off. Good product but definitely had some bugs. ... show more

I bought the unit with the 4 key fobs. Installation is straight forward. My advice, take your time, read the instructions well and keep them with you for reference, take a look at several videos on YouTube as well. If all else fails, reach out to the tech department, I needed them and they were there until the job was complete. I give the product and the company that sells it a huge A+.
