The hardest part of installation was getting the panels on the car (2012 Ford Fusion) apart without breakage. Wiring up the unit was a snap. Note: Instructions don't tell you that, apparently, if you have a "Check Engine Light" (CEL) on, the car will only run about 30 seconds after remote start then shut off. Clear the codes, and everything's good. (Unless the code comes back...) Nice that you can add on modules for things like cell phone operation and very extended range. I was able to start up "as is" from in front of a store about 100-120 feet from the car.

Install was easy took about 30 mins instructions were helpful and the product works well. However the distance/ range of the remote is not very far and its has to be a clear visible path to the vehicle for it to work, also it only stays running for 15mins before shutting off. it would be nice if it stayed on longer for sure. The other thing is that sometimes when I do the LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK to start it the alarm goes off instead then when I get the alarm to turn off the car will start which is kind of annoying but overall I like it for the price and wasn't out a vehicle a day or two like I would have been if I had to take it to a shop to have installed.

Installed the remote starter in a 2012 Ford Fusion. Instructions were very detailed and accurate. Recommend to follow them step by step to ensure success the first time around. Very satisfied customer.

On your item, they send a QR code as well as a web address with the latest instructions. The install was very straight forward and was done and programmed in about 1 hour. Just make sure you have 2 original keys, not clones and the programming took 30 seconds. You will also need some small zip ties to secure everything and electrical tape for the unused wires so they don't ground. System works like from the factory.

It was easy to install and did work but it was very touchy. The car would randomly start from time to time. It was notorious for starting if you hit the lock button with a door open. Plus only way of shutting it off after was to put the key in put the car in gear then back in park then shutting it off. Good product but definitely had some bugs.
