Install wasn’t too difficult. It was a tight space to work in. Spent most of the time getting to the area. Simple Plug & play as advertised. Found a great YouTube video from mpc to follow. U will need internet and a laptop or something with a usb port to decode the device. I’d recommend this unit. There’s also an add-on option you can buy separately to be able to start your car from an app on your phone. It works through a phone number so you can start your car from anywhere in the US.

OMG this was so hard to program. The installation of the wiring was easy, but I did have an issue with the connection. Finally figured that out. The programming instruction you have to download to your phone includes nothing. They gave me a link to a video that was incorrect. They tell you to push the button 5 waiting one second between pushes, which is wrong. Push the button, and it will blink once. Push the button again, and it will blink twice. Push the button again, it will blink three times, continue until the fifth time, and it will blink 5 times, then put the key in and turn it on for 3 seconds. Remove the key and wait 10 seconds put the key in again and turn it on, and wait for the light to turn solid blue. It is NOW ready to program. The USB port tool is a Joke it's to loose and keeps disconnecting, and to finally lay my TV remote on top of it and get it just right.. I had to try to program this 15 times before I figured out the correct way to do it or I just got lucky. NOTE You cannot unlock the doors with the key Fob after it has been remotely started have to use your key. That's dumb. What if the lock gets frozen? Now you can't shut your car off. Would not recommend

Easy to install and works great! Just follow the directions and there are a couple good videos on You Tube, I was able to get it programmed on the first try. Push the lock button on your factory fob three times and it starts right up. Once it's running under the remote start you cannot unlock it with the fob, you have to unlock it manually with the key but that is a minor inconvenience for an inexpensive, DIY remote start.

The instructions are a bit vague when it comes to the flashlink. It works as it should. But it does not let you use your factory key fob to unlock your doors when the vehicle is running after you remote start it.

The install was all plug and play except for the one wire that needs hooked to the green wire on the communications plug. The programming to the car was a complete nightmare. I spent more time getting it working then hooking it up. The trick is being lighting fast when going threw the sequence and hitting all the lights. Like an old video game that was created out of patterns. Eventually you win. I did finally get it to work.

Insulation was very easy, installed on my wives 2011 Chevy equinox everything went smooth, went back and bought the upgrade kit because the factory remote is wore out and I had to do it several times before it would crank. But I highly recommend it this is a good product. This will be my third one I have purchase for my vehicles.. customer support is great. They've always responded back within one day..

Spent 6 hours it 20° weather trying to install it. Then another 2-3 in -12° trying to remove it. The t harnesses were simple but I couldn’t get past step 10 with the module and its light sequence. I thought it would be pretty simple. I work on cars as a hobby do all my own work on my car short of ripping the motor apart. But couldn’t get this to work
