Don’t let its classification as a children's MP3 device fool you. I absolutely love this MP3 Player with Spotify and many other apps by Luoran. First of all, you can’t beat this price with this quality. 🤩 I purchased it to load my favorite songs from my micro SD cards, and it works like a charm! The ability to upload pictures, music, and files directly from my computer is an added bonus. And I love that I can access my Spotify account. I can't live without music! I highly recommend this player for anyone looking for a versatile and user-friendly device! I’m quite pleased with the battery life. However, the built-in speakers are not as impressive as those found in more expensive models. That said, I didn’t buy this unit for the sound quality. For a better audio experience at home, I connect my device to an external Bluetooth speaker. Additionally, the car speaker works wonderfully, making it easy to enjoy my favorite tunes on the go. I also reached out to the company with several questions, and I was impressed by their prompt and friendly responses. I learned I could add other apps for theirs are a little dated, and I learned how to put the micro SD chip in without fingernails. I need to keep mine short, working with ceramics. I am very happy with this kids' music device. It’s a fantastic solution to keep children entertained, especially because it allows using Spotify accounts and listening to music both online and offline. This makes it very versatile for trips, commuting between home and school, or just daily use. The screen is large and high-resolution, making it easy for kids to interact with the device quickly and intuitively. It’s very fast and easy to operate. Additionally, it has a memory slot to expand the storage, which is a great plus. It comes with all the necessary accessories: a protective cover, charger, and headphones, so it’s ready to use right out of the box. Originally, I bought 2 devices about 1.5 years ago. I had an issue with one of the devices, and I contacted Louran’s technical support. Their response was excellent: they replied promptly, suggested possible solutions, and although the problem couldn’t be fixed, they offered to replace the defective device. I decided to purchase the latest version, which is even better, and the company issued a full refund for the original device. Louran is truly a wonderful company in terms of customer support, and their devices have excellent technology for kids. It’s a much safer alternative to giving them a phone, providing an easy and secure way for children to enjoy music. Highly recommended!

My son has had this for 2 days... It's died 8 times on him paid good money for this... It was a gift for passing his grade and to have it not even function right it's sad Battery life: Sucks! My child has had it for 2 days and it's died 8 times ... Speed: It's so slow!! Mp3 quality: It's battery life doesn't last at all

It mostly does what I want it to do. The sleep timer is only used for the music app not the device itself so unfortunately there's no way to complete lock down the device for certain hours. If you're considering this basically look at it as a really, really crappy phone that can't make calls or take pictures. It runs on Android 9 and has some overlaid parental controls. You do have to be a little bit tech savvy to deal with some stuff like updating Spotify because you have to download an APK from your actual phone them send it over via Bluetooth. I'm not sure what version is shipped on them currently but mine was 8.7. something and I had to update it to use the new managed account feature. If you accidentally delete an app you have to factory reset the device to get it back which ultimately is a good thing so you don't need to have Google Play on it and risk your kids downloading apps. Like others have mentioned it's pretty slow but if all you're using it for is to run Spotify or Pandora for your kids, it's fine.

We bought this for our 9 year old to listen to music on & it was an immediate hit. It was very easy to set up & use. He used it every night for about 2.5 months; when it inexplicably stopped working. After a couple of days troubleshooting, we contacted Luoran customer service. They responded promptly & immediately offered a replacement. The replacement arrived within a few days. They also reached back out to ensure the replacement had arrived & was satisfactory. I highly commend Luoran for backing up their products with prompt & courteous customer service.

This is an excellent mp3 player. It is easy to use, has lots of apps, a good amount of memory, and the parental controls make it easy to block apps so it works really well for overnight camp for my son. Importantly, customer service is excellent. They respond quickly and are always helpful. The price is also very reasonable and the product is durable.

Update after three weeks: battery life is fine, we get most of a day's worth of listening out of it. It easily paired with our portable Bluetooth speaker. Also, I was able to install APK files without issue to load VLC Player (our preferred media player) and Hoopla (which our local library uses for audiobook loans). Both work just fine. Very happy with this, just about perfect for our needs. Original Review: Got this unit for my 10yo son so he could listen to audiobooks and music without the temptations and distractions that come with the old phones he'd been using. As a music player, it works well. We've used the Audible, Pandora, Amazon Music, and the built-in music player app to play traditional mp3s. All work well. I want to give Luoran huge props for their customer service. My son uncovered a glitch in the system, so I reached out via the customer service email address. Luoran responded within 24 hours and worked with me over the next few days to solve the issue. Very happy with the experience.
