My 7yo daughter is doing a lot of Broadway classes and shows. We didn't wanted to spend a lot on a microphone yet. We got the pink microphone and she loves it. I connected it to my phone with the Bluetooth. The music sound was correct for a microphone like this. The singing sound was also good. You have the option of having reverberating voice. You can control your phone via the microphone, to play, go to the next or previous song while we where on YouTube playing music. We didn't use the recording option or the selfie option (which is for me totally useless). We tried it at different distance in the house and you can have your phone on the first floor and be singing on the second floor without loosing signal. There was one thing I didn't like at all. I was obliged to share my contacts and phone call history in order to pair the microphone to my phone. I don't see why it was necessary for this kind of toys. Unless you can receive phone call from the microphone ??? Overall the item is working good and my daughter likes it.

I love these Karaoke Microphones Sadly, this one lost 1 star because it doesnt work as well as my other 3 and it affects sound quality. I have tried re-positioning the microphone inside the microphone but it only helped a little. I think this one has a bad mic inside. Dont let that change your mind on one of these because anyone who gets ones of these will have so much fun with it. I never liked Karaoke before but once we got some of these its was so much fun. I never knew if I could sing because I never tried singing before LOL still not sure if I can sing but boy did I have fun. Verstile Microphone, we used it for more than Karaoke. We did stand up comedy, we made party announcements, etc. You can buy backup batteries for it too. I promise your family will have fun with these, they are great and for the price they sound pretty darn good. They are a good size about 10" inches long and 3" inches wide at widest part (the round body w/buttons).

This is a fun gift for any kid to play with. It doesn’t convey your true voice through it though. It changes it to be high pitched and silly sounding which I didn’t expect. Also, when you first turn it on it says something in a language other than English, which is fine but I can’t figure out how to change it. It doesn’t seem to matter though, it is still a funny toy for my 6 year old!

I got this microphone for my 4 year old after she fell in love with it at a friend's house. I should caution you in advance that if you're someone who treasures peace and quiet this item may present a conflict of interest. Controls and functions are reasonably simple to figure out and execute. The microphone has the ability to play music from an external source, and the speaker is surprisingly loud. My child and her friends are of course most enamored with the voice changer feature. For hours they'll talk into this thing and filter their voices to be higher or lower pitched, faster or slower. They think it's the greatest thing ever. The mic has a number of connection options including Bluetooth, aux cord and usb, which is also how you charge the battery. For a toy so heavily employed by enthusiastic children I have been impressed so far with the battery life. Likewise the microphone has been able to withstand an afternoon of rough play with active children, so I'm taking that to mean it's reasonably well-made. This mic has a decent set of features that I think will interest older children and adults as well. Even if they don't want to sing karaoke with their favorite tunes this is certainly a capable Bluetooth speaker. Note that it is made of aluminum alloy, not just plastic. This makes it feel like a quality product and not simply a toy. From what I can tell, that's on par with the manufacturer's intent; I don't think this device is meant to be just a child's toy. I think this awesome pink microphone is a great gift for little hams of any age. As we move further into the holiday season and have more of a chance to live with this mic I'll see if I notice anything that stands out, good or bad, and come back in here to add to this review.

The power button is on the top, that's important to remember. The mic has this really annoying voice that announces you've turned it on and when it connects to Bluetooth. There are options to modulate your voice, though not many. It still sounds really cheap coming out of the mic. It's fun for a bit, but isn't really a convenient karaoke option if you're in a large group. Just the sound of the other people will drown out the mic even on the highest volume level. The sound of the music is too low when speaking and again, using an external speaker will definitely overpower the mic volume. Overall, I would recommend for something fun for yourself, but not for groups.
