  • Great value, but know what you're getting into. Great value, but know what you're getting into.
I don't think anyone seriously considering something like this doesn't already have a dedicated sim pit, but if you're expecting to put this on a desktop you should think again. At $500, there really is no value competition for a FFB base like this. I'm a big fan of Moza's DD racing wheels so I wanted to upgrade my flight gear as well, and I definitely reccomend it. Upgrading from a static Virpil CM3 base is night and day for immersion. It's cool that it can also function as an h-pattern or sequential shifter too, but I definitely wouldn't suggest buying this for that reason alone. This thing is MASSIVE, I had to reconfigure my entire pit to accomodate its size. If you fly old jets, warbirds, helos you will adore this thing. I run it with a 200mm extension and a heavy metal grip, which does reveal the limits of 9-12nm of torque, but I still wouldn't go back to a static base. It would be nice if they offered something a little more powerful for big cyclics and heavy duty grips as the next level ffb bases around in 2026 are easily 2-3x as expensive. ... show more

  • FFB in DCS is a game changer. FFB in DCS is a game changer.
I stepped into the cockpit of the F4U-1D Corsair. as I take a hold of the stick and start my startup sequence I noticed that it’s vibrating and then I look and I’m on the deck of an aircraft carrier and the stick is vibrating with the wind blowing against the aircraft. I moved the stick and I feel resistance against all of the control surfaces in the stick as I get to the point where I’m turning on the starter I noticed that has it begins to turn over the stick vibrates after I warm her up and get ready to takeoff from the carrier. I spool the engine up to the required RPM and feel the stick vibrate as the RPMs increase. I let go of the brakes and barrel down the deck of the Essex class carrier the stick becomes stiffer and stiffer as I pull back and barrel down the runway and when I get to the end, I feel the stick loosen up a little bit as I’m climbing off the deck every subtle movement of the stick I can feel resistance coming back from the airplane. This describes my first experience with the MOZA AB9 in DCS. This is a GAME CHANGER. The level of immersion combined with the butt kicker vibrating my seat is just next level. ... show more

  • Wanted To Love It
Really wanted to love it. But, within a week the base would lose feedback during flights causing me to have to pause and restart the software. The mechanical trim function also permanently stopped working regardless if restarting the base, pc or the Moza Cockpit software. Decided to return the base.
