  • This Little Robot Changed Our Family Weekends Forever This Little Robot Changed Our Family Weekends Forever
Color: 3000 AWD: Mows up to 0.75acre
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute game changer — best purchase I’ve made all year! (Review written by my husband — this is his wife’s account!) I’ll be honest, I was skeptical. I’d looked at robotic mowers before and always talked myself out of it. Too fiddly, too expensive, too many wires to bury. But the LiDAX 3000 AWD changed my mind completely, and I haven’t looked back since. As a dad with a demanding job, my free time is precious. Weekends used to mean choosing between keeping the lawn tidy and actually spending quality time with my kids and the lawn always seemed to win. That guilt of missing out on those moments with them was the final push I needed to try this mower, and I’m so glad I did. Setup was shockingly easy. No boundary wires, no RTK stations, no headaches. I set up the charging tower, powered the mower on, did a quick walk of my yard, and the thing mapped itself out in minutes. Honestly thought I was doing something wrong because it was that simple. Nope, it just works. The app is brilliant. Clean, intuitive, and genuinely useful. I can set schedules, adjust cutting height, define no go zones, and check in on the mower all from my phone. It’s one of those apps that you can hand to someone with zero tech experience and they’ll figure it out in five minutes. Oh, and the live camera feature? Genuinely so cool. I’ve caught myself checking in on it from work just for fun. Watching it methodically work its way around the garden is oddly satisfying. The kids absolutely love it too. They’ll crowd around the phone to watch it trundle around like it’s their favourite TV show. Speaking of the kids, my daughters took one look at it and immediately named it WALL·E. And honestly? The name fits perfectly. It’s compact, it’s hardworking, it navigates around obstacles like it knows exactly what it’s doing, and it’s got this quiet little charm about it that’s hard not to love. WALL·E is now very much a member of the family. Now let’s talk about performance, this little beast is tough. I deliberately let part of my lawn get long and we’d had a few days of rain, so the grass was thick, wet, and heavy. Most mowers would choke on it. WALL·E just ploughed straight through without hesitation. The AWD really earns its name. Great traction, no slipping, no getting stuck. It handled the sloped section of my garden without any drama at all. The edge cutting is also surprisingly precise. I was expecting to still have to go around the borders with a strimmer but it gets right up close to walls and raised edges. Massive time saver. Now while WALL·E does his thing, I’m in the garden kicking a ball around with the kids or just enjoying the weekend the way it’s supposed to be spent. This mower has genuinely given me my weekends and more importantly that time with my children back. My lawn has never looked better either. If you’re a busy parent who’s tired of sacrificing family time to push a mower around, just buy this. You won’t regret it and your kids might just adopt it as a pet. Highly recommend. 10/10. ... show more

  • Finally got my weekends back! Finally got my weekends back!
Color: Ultra 1000: Mows up to 0.25acre
I’ve been eyeing robot mowers for months and finally pulled the trigger on the MOVA LiDAX Ultra 1000. Three weeks in and I’m kicking myself for not buying one sooner. Setup was almost too easy. I was dreading burying perimeter wires or mounting an RTK antenna on my roof like some of the other brands require. Nope — none of that. Plopped down the charging dock, opened the MOVAhome app, and it mapped my whole quarter-acre yard in about 20 minutes. Done. That alone saved me a Saturday. The edge cutting actually works. This was my biggest skepticism. My lawn runs right up against a fence and some flower beds, and with my old mower I always had to come back with a string trimmer. The movable cutting disc on this thing gets within ~2 inches of walls and fence lines — I’d say it handles 95% of the edges so I barely need to trim anymore. Obstacle avoidance is legit. I left a garden hose, a few kids’ toys, and a couple of planters out as a test. It navigated around all of them without bumping. When my dog wandered out one afternoon, it just stopped and waited until she moved. Genuinely impressed with the AI vision. Handles slopes great. I have a section in my backyard that’s probably 25–30 degrees. Was worried it would slide or get stuck. Zero issues, even after rain. The app is well-designed. Setting up no-go zones, scheduling different zones with different cut heights, checking the live camera feed — all super smooth. I may or may not have spent way too much time watching it mow from my couch. A couple of honest notes: • For my 0.2-acre yard it needs one recharge to finish the job. If you’re closer to a full 1/4 acre or above, just spring for the 2000. • The charging dock could be a bit more rigid — mine occasionally needs a small nudge so the contacts align properly. For the price, the wire-free + RTK-free setup, the edge precision, and the 3-year warranty make this an easy 5 stars. If you’re tired of mowing and don’t want to deal with the complexity of older robot mower systems, this is the one to get. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Autonomous lawn mowing is here NOW! Best purchase of the year!
Color: Ultra 2000: Mows up to 0.5acre
This thing is AMAZING. It only took me about an hour to get it setup and now I never have to mow again. I have about 750 sq. Meters lawn to mow. All I had to do was control it with my phone in the app like a remote control car along the border of my lawn. Then i setup no go zones for my shed and trees by guiding it around them. After that, it worked flawlessly. Avoids humans and dogs or other animals in the yard - tested several times so very safe for kids, pets (my dogs like to try to play with it and it stops immediately), and gardens (we have one and it avoids it by applying no go zone - very easy to setup). It has a ton of configuration options like how tall/short you want the grass cut. It has a configuration option for the border to move the blades on the inside to the edge so you have less to weed wack. You can set it up to mow your lawn vertically or horizontally. I set it up to run automatically twice a week. This thing is cheaper than most every riding lawn mowers so is a no brainer purchase because you dont have to do anything but use a weed wacker on the very edges which you have to do with a regular mower anyways. It even handles the inclines in my backyard with no issies. If it does run into any issues, like it gets stuck due to branch getting caught in wheel (not common) you get a notification on your phone in the app so you know to fix it. It senses rain and you can have it stop whennit detects it or keep going - it work in the rain. Only negative is power station must be on the grass which I would prefer to keep it in my shed but will not deduct any stars because this is a very small issues and it excels in every other area. You can also control it remotely from the app and can access the camera on the front of the mower which can also be a useful home security tool to check if you think someone is in your yard and don't have to check yourself. I can't reccomend this thing enough it is saving me hours and hours of mowing. Also, I dont know why anyone would put bad reviews for this. They must have not read the user manual or don't know how to use a smart phone. As I said, its a very easy setup. ... show more

  • Not great at all.
Color: 3000 AWD: Mows up to 0.75acre
As a mower it does the job pretty well especally compared to the other ones out there. Big things to consider: 1) if your lawn is not perfect it will either require hours of setting up no go zone, or deal with dirt area that get tank like turns and ripped out 2) The app is terrible. Its just like a cartoon drawing of the property, but youd expect with lidar a real view, then when you try to set no go zones its a different page and you dont know where the unit got stuck etc.... The FRONT WHEELS TO NOT TURN so it WILL rip up and loose dirt or not perfect grass. There is zero reason to buy this when options with front wheel turning / zero turn options existed for literally the same price. ... show more

  • Great software with decent hardware
Color: Ultra 1000: Mows up to 0.25acre
The thing that sold me on this was the over 20 minute video showing exactly how to train and use this. It addressed all of my questions and concerns. I wanted a robot mower with lidar or really good mapping equipment, because of my weirdly shaped and separate lawns. Now that I have mapped my lawns and used the mower, I have some thoughts. Pros: The hardware is very capable of driving itself. The software is great and pretty intuitive. It seems to do a decent job mowing the lawn. Cons: the wheel motors have insufficient torque, and because they're rear wheel drive with low bumpers, it gets stuck on hills. Be warned, if you have some tall weeds like dandelions or grass patches that grow faster, you might need to disable the lidar obstacle recognition temporarily. Also, you might need to trim the lawn edges by hand. Overall, I'd say this is worth it for the right situation. ... show more

  • Exceeds expectations!
Color: 3000 AWD: Mows up to 0.75acre
I seldom write reviews, but in the case of this Mova Ultra 3000, I need to make an exception. I purchased this product after reading tons of reviews regarding which robotic mower would best suit my needs. I am in my uppoer 70s with about three-quarters of an acre of quirky, hilly and bumpy lawn to mow. I watched prices and read features and finally, purchased the Mova 3000, because it had all the features I thought it should have and was a bit less expensive than the standard big-box store models. Also, since it employs a LiDax sensor and a camera, it is self-contained without the need for set up of antennas or wires. I thought I could use it for the area around the house and leave the socalled "lower 40" to tackle with my small riding lawn mower. I set the mower up as instructed, mapped out the portion of the lawn around my house and set it mowing. It was truly unexpectedly awesome! 16 blades did the work; it never got hung up. So I tried it on the hilly, lower portion of my lawn. I set up separate zones as prompted by the app, and once again it excelled in its task. The lawn looks great, and I have no need for either my push mower or my riding mower. I can use a small hand held string trimmer for a few spots under trees and bushes. I don't know how other robotic mowers compare, but I honestly can't think of any that could be better in any way. I has 4wd, 16 blades that cut everything down. I schedule it for regular mowing thoughout the week. When it rains, the rain sensor sends it back to the station, over which I installed a simple canvas "garage" so it would stay dry. That's about it. Performance is excellent, operation is quiet, easy to use and not a fortune. BTW: my neighbor bought another brand which is supposed to be more robust, but after he replaced it with one that they said would work, he still has not been able to get it going. So, look at features before you buy anything and be sure you get one that you can return if it doesn't work the way you like. ... show more

  • No wires, no hassle — this thing just mows No wires, no hassle — this thing just mows
Color: Ultra 2000: Mows up to 0.5acre
Setup was way easier than I expected — no boundary wires to bury, just let it map the yard with LiDAR and it figured out the layout on its own. The 3D mapping and AI vision are legit, it navigates around obstacles without bumping into everything. Zero-edge cutting gets right up to the borders so I'm not out there with a trimmer after every run. Handles slopes well too, my yard isn't flat and it hasn't gotten stuck once. The 4G connectivity is nice, I can check on it or adjust zones from my phone wherever I am. The cut looks clean and even, adjustable height is easy to set. 150 mowing zones is overkill for my yard but nice to have the flexibility. Anti-theft feature is a plus since it's sitting outside. Honestly the best upgrade I've made for yard work. Set it and forget it. ... show more

  • Solid Wire-Free Mower with fast setup and accurate mapping
Color: Ultra 1000: Mows up to 0.25acre
The MOVA robot lawn mower completely redefines lawn maintenance with its wireless, fast setup that eliminates the headache of burying boundary wires. Its accurate mapping is top-tier, allowing the mower to navigate complex yards while the precise edge detection ensures a clean finish that rivals manual trimming. Because it uses LiDAR and AI vision instead of GPS antennas, it doesn't get "lost" in dark area or near the side of the house. The more impressive feature is how quiet the unit remains during operation, allowing for a perfectly manicured lawn at any hour without disturbing the peace. Besides, the shipment is so fast that it arrived just the second day of the order with solid packaging. ... show more
