This thing is AMAZING. It only took me about an hour to get it setup and now I never have to mow again. I have about 750 sq. Meters lawn to mow. All I had to do was control it with my phone in the app like a remote control car along the border of my lawn. Then i setup no go zones for my shed and trees by guiding it around them. After that, it worked flawlessly. Avoids humans and dogs or other animals in the yard - tested several times so very safe for kids, pets (my dogs like to try to play with it and it stops immediately), and gardens (we have one and it avoids it by applying no go zone - very easy to setup). It has a ton of configuration options like how tall/short you want the grass cut. It has a configuration option for the border to move the blades on the inside to the edge so you have less to weed wack. You can set it up to mow your lawn vertically or horizontally. I set it up to run automatically twice a week. This thing is cheaper than most every riding lawn mowers so is a no brainer purchase because you dont have to do anything but use a weed wacker on the very edges which you have to do with a regular mower anyways. It even handles the inclines in my backyard with no issies. If it does run into any issues, like it gets stuck due to branch getting caught in wheel (not common) you get a notification on your phone in the app so you know to fix it. It senses rain and you can have it stop whennit detects it or keep going - it work in the rain. Only negative is power station must be on the grass which I would prefer to keep it in my shed but will not deduct any stars because this is a very small issues and it excels in every other area. You can also control it remotely from the app and can access the camera on the front of the mower which can also be a useful home security tool to check if you think someone is in your yard and don't have to check yourself. I can't reccomend this thing enough it is saving me hours and hours of mowing. Also, I dont know why anyone would put bad reviews for this. They must have not read the user manual or don't know how to use a smart phone. As I said, its a very easy setup.

Nice mower but the moment you go 1 inch over the maximum mowing capacity in the map it will not allow you to finish the map and you have to start all over again guessing where to cut off part of the area you are mowing to allow you to finish the map. The Anthbot lets you go 2 or 3 times over the mowing capacity it just takes longer to mow.

I’ve been traveling more and more for work, so decided to take a serious look at robot mowers. I hadn’t considered in the past due to physical boundary and/or antenna needs. This Mova unit needs none of that. I’m giving it five stars based on ease of use once I’ve tweaked the setup to my liking. I’ve only had a month, so can’t speak to long-term battery life. But I simply love the ease of use, and flexibility to mow whenever I choose (even when I’m out of town). I’m at the coast now, and am watching the mower on my phone cleanly cut the front lawn and provide security patrol while I’m gone. It’s an amazing game-changing device once dialed in. I do have some initial challenges and level-setting on expectations to share: - Initial setup between map and pathway was a bit confusing. I walked the entire yard to map it, then couldn’t connect the pathway to the base station. If the base station isn’t within the actual lawn map, you’ve got to connect with a pathway and it was a bit tricky to do. I finally figured out how to start in the map and end outside the map to create the path, but took me a couple tries to do so. - Mower can get stuck particularly in flower beds, mulch, and loose dirt. Manually setting up “no-go” zones is critical. - Mower cuts maybe 6” across at a time, so do not expect fast cuts. The mower isn’t meant to cut the lawn quickly. Mowing will take hours and likely require at least a recharge or two before completing (depending on size of lawn). You have to be willing to send out and run a good portion of the day. Send it and forget it. - Tip: Create zones in your map, set each on a calendar schedule, and simply let it do its thing (day or night). - Edging is another perk with this unit to allow it to cut close to edge or boundary. I would not recommend using the Ultratrim 1.0 or the edge will cut so much shorter than the rest of the lawn. This is on by default, so customize settings and turn off. - Though the app is great and setup is rather easy, take the time to explore and prepare for some initial confusion as you navigate through the setup. It really is a good interface, but naturally there is some learning curve to be prepared for. -Do plan to edge and weed-eat every couple of weeks. No robot mower can do the precise edge trimming that is needed, but this one is really close! Going into the hot summer, I’m so excited to use my weekend time enjoying myself instead of sweating out in the sun. Mower will pay for itself in a year, and who wouldn’t want a cool gadget patrolling your lawn nd making your neighbors jealous?

It’s way better than I expected. I used to push a lawn mower around every weekend, but now this thing just goes back and forth in the yard on its own. I barely have to do anything anymore. After turning it on, it quickly starts mapping the yard and planning its route. Within a few minutes, it already knows where to cut and where to avoid—no boundary wires or complicated setup like the old-style mowers. It feels really smart, and it even does a nice, clean job around the edges. What I like most is the app control. Adjusting the cutting height and modes is super easy, and it doesn’t constantly need attention or get stuck. I can just leave it alone—it automatically goes back to recharge and then continues mowing.

I was hesitant at first, but I seriously wish I’d bought this sooner! The absolute best part is not having to bury any perimeter wire. The mapping feature worked perfectly on the first run, and it easily dodges random things on the grass like my garden hose. My yard has a decent hill, and this little guy handles the slope without breaking a sweat. It cuts the edges so well I barely use my weed trimmer anymore. The app tracking is a nice bonus too, so I feel safe leaving it outside. If you want your weekends back, just get one! Highly recommend!

This thing is a really expensive paper. It, took four hours to get it to set up the.Controller for the manual setup is ridiculous. It's gotten stuck twice in the yard.Even though according to my yard size, I should not need to have a all wheel drive. I can't see where this thing is gonna save any time at all.If I have to be home every time it mows, so I can unstick it in the yard. Big waste of money

Very frustrated with the mapping. If you have a lawn that is a straight square rectangle you’ll be fine. But if you have curves or gardens, heaven help you. I spent hours trying to get the robot mapped. I did both IA and manual. And they were miserable, not accurate. Starting from scratch tomorrow. If I can’t accomplish it. I will be returning it. Oh, and sprinkler heads are extremely difficult. Does not do well with those. Surprisingly, I was contacted by the company and they wanted to troubleshoot my issues. There was communication back-and-forth and they were very responsive. I finally have the robot functioning. It is basically doing what I need it to do which is mow. I do have to drag the manual lawnmower out to do the edges and around the sprinkler heads, but at least I don’t have to do the entire yard. At this point, I’m satisfied with it and no regrets in the purchase, but it did take a lot of time to get to this point. A couple of things to be aware of when you are mapping a zone if it overlaps with another zone, the app automatically merges it into one large zone. You then have to go back and separate the zones otherwise the battery is continually having to be recharged or potentially overheat. I had a problem with the battery overheating but with the smaller zones that solved the issue.
