Me and my wife purchased this because one of our cats is along in age and was having trouble keeping her pee in our existing box. She figured it out right away and it works great. However, she does sometimes fail to get all the way in and pees down the little staircase. She's a bit of a rickety little goofball. Always has been. Luckily, the designers shaped this so that there's a space at the bottom that will catch anything (like litter, as well) that might fall off of them on the way out. I also think her (and our other male cat) like the privacy. A couple of things to know: 1. It really is pretty dang big. Pay attention to the measurements. 2. Due to its abnormal shape, normal bags will not work and the included bags kind of suck. We've been using it without bags and just doing normal scooping without incident. Overall, it's been a great fit for our place. The kitties seem to like it, too. Would buy again.

I own two of these for two cats. Pricey boxes but worth every penny. I have a male and female. Female squats and is not much of a issue. My male cat is a huge one haha. He sprays at times when he pees, plus he’s a clean freak and will hang ten over the edge to poop in box. No dome and it’s all over the floor. Plus each one at times has habit of pooping on that walkway you see going up. My male cat is mr clean. He sees this he will dig litter out of box and scatter it on the rail to cover it haha! Imagine a open box and well you get the point! I bought a floor mat at Costco that reminded me of a tightly spun wool sweater sorta. Open to where as it looked like it would good to catch cat litter. Sure enough 75 percent or more drop in litter thru out the area, just turn box opening to force cats to walk on it!!

I was having trouble with my older cat being able to get in and out of her litter box as well as my kitten was having issues with trailing litter everywhere. Both my cats love this litter box and prefer it to our other boxes. It hasn't completely stopped the litter trailing but it has helped a lot and my older cat doesn't have to struggle to get in and out of the box!! So far best litter box I've ever had! Not the easiest to clean but Im not going back!

First, I really appreciate that this litter box is made mostly of recycled plastic. The pearl white color looks great and the design itself is much like the original with one exception. In the original, the filter was circular and enclosed securely in a plastic grated cover. The new design no longer has the enclosure, making the filter exposed and there are gaps around the filter to where I can see into the box (which means odors can escape easily). My precocious cat thinks it's great fun to pull the filter out and play with it, which defeats also the purpose. This version is also less well made, the edges are rough and the plastic is thinner. This said, the design itself remains effective at keeping litter in the box and reducing tracking. And my cat likes it. I just wish I'd kept original.

It's a lovely litter box, a convenient way to keep my crawling babies out of the cats litter. Was disappointed the product arrived damaged at the handle. Also there are no buckles or straps to keep the lid in place, which depending on your preference is a pro or con. PRO makes scooping litter very simple and easy CON can't lift easily with top handle for easy cleaning underneath, either have to push the litter box or lift from the bottom. But all in all, if I get more cats in the future, I'l probably buy something similar.

Ive only had this for a day, but so far so good. My cats had no issues using this. My 13 pound cat fit ok inside and didn't seem to have any issues. I do want to mention that the liner it comes with will not fit properly, so make sure you buy a box of replacemnet liners, they fit perfectly. The steps have helped with keeping litter off my floor. I also bought a rubber mat to place in front of it and I dont have any issues with the cats tracking litter everywhere. I would buy this again.

Not only did this item arrive quickly, the packaging was perfect! I am so obsessed with this litter box, I'm checking it every minute to see if my cat has used it! She absolutely loves it, it gives her the privacy she's accustomed to with her old litter box, however, this by far is the best one she's ever owned! It is quite spacious for her to do her business! I would definitely recommend this litterbox to friends and family that are looking for a litter box for their feline!.... Also, it is priced right! Definitely not cheaply made, but sturdy!...😻😻😻

Here is a funny story. I bought this for my cat. It is beautiful and the best litter box ever!! I was very happy.... But when l was moving to a different apt. I decided to try a smaller box ! MISTAKE! CAT DID NOT LIKE SMALLER LITTER BOX. I DID NOT LIKE SMALLER LITTER BOX. I had cat litter all over. WHAT A MESS. You need a lid!!! NO CAT LITTLER WILL STAY IN A BOX WITHOUT A LID !!! THIS IS THE BEST CAT LITTER BOX!!! AS THEY WALK DOWN THE STEPS THE LITTER FALLS OFF THEIR PAWS! MY CAT LOVES THIS LITTER BOX AND ALL ITS FEATURES ARE OUTSTANDING! IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!
