It works well. I've used it several times. The high heat setting really gets warm. I can use it on my low back or upper back and even my legs, thighs, calves or even gluten and it gives a nice massage.

I recently purchased this back massager and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! Not only provide a great massage for my neck and shoulders, also the stand out design. The blue color is not only stylish, it also resistant to dirt and stains. I am truly impressed!

Both my wife and I get episodic back pain, so I ordered this massager to help with that. The massager arrives very nicely boxed making it very suitable for gifting. The massage unit is lightweight but feels well built. It comes with an AC adapter and also a 12 volt DC adapter for power. A small, printed instruction booklet is included, but operation of the massager is very intuitive. The remote control is hard wired to the massage unit. The direction of massage rotation is reversible with the remote as are the selection of two different massage intensity and heat settings. Heat can also be turned off. Massage duration can also be set to a timer. I tested the massager on my lower back. It provides comfortable massage at either of the two intensities. The depth of massage is not as deep as others I have tried in the past. I can’t say that I felt much heat from either of the heat settings, but it’s possible that it takes several minutes to warm up. The massager is designed to work well for neck massage, too. Pros: Intuitive to use Massage intensity and heat settings are adjustable Comfortable massage Can be used for both neck and back massage Includes DC adapter for use in a vehicle Cons: Massage is not as deep as other similar massagers Wired remote control (wireless would be better) Minimal heat

This is a great little portable unit! It’s compact and it has a 9volt adapter so you can easily plug it into your car or RV. This isn’t a complicated, “bells and whistles” kind of massager. It has the following functions: on/off, high intensity/low intensity, and no/low/high heat. When the heat option is selected, the unit glows red, which is kind of cool so you know at a glance if the heat is on. It has a convenient strap to attach it to a chair, but I haven’t used it that way (yet). Since it’s quite a basic unit, there is no option to adjust the position of the kneading elements—I’ve tried other designs where you can adjust the distance between the two swirling pieces. This is not a deal breaker, but my back is obviously more narrow than the average size that they designed it for. I have found that to massage my lower back, I prefer to flip it upside down for best positioning. I have also put it on the floor and gently placed my feet on it (I don’t want to squash it!)—it feels great on the feet! Overall, this is a nice compact unit that I will probably take on my next road trip.

Great massager for traveling. It works well especially given its smaller size. It's a good size for traveling with or using while driving. I even use it while watching TV on my sofa. I have a larger massager but it is too tall to fit comfortably on my sofa. I can only use it while in a chair with a tall back. So this is great, because of its size I can use virtually anywhere. The heating element works really well too. The massager only has 2 intensity levels but can change directions. I love that it is easy to use. My daughter wants one to take with her to college. I think its perfect for college kids living in small dorms. I love the remote, which makes it easy to adjust the setting without having to remove the massager. No complaints.
