Mini split is working great! It’s only a few days after installation but it’s cooling my 450 sq foot garage phenomenally. I live in north Texas and my garage was 95 degrees with 70% humidity. I leave the unit running and set at 80 degrees and it is keeping my garage in the mid to upper 70’s and it isn’t working very hard to maintain it; in fact I can’t even hear it run unless the fan is cranked up. The directions were ok but seemed to be translated from another language or something because certain directions didn’t make sense. I would lean on YouTube for installation videos and tips. This was my first time doing a mini-split installation and it was straight forward. I am a little worried about long-term quality and durability but even if it breaks it’s not a massive loss due to its low price. So far, would recommend it.

The provided instructions were clear, allowing for a straightforward installation that took approximately one hour. Because we plan to sell our house in the near future, I opted for a temporary installation setup. I routed the lines through a window and positioned the indoor unit on an elevated bench, ensuring the condensate drains properly to the exterior. I also added a plug to the unit for standard outlet convenience. Over the past three months of continuous use, the system has performed flawlessly and operates very quietly. I live in south west Florida were the summer temperatures are in the 90 to 110 range I did the installation a week ago and it has been a game changer! The unit was damaged by the shipper,I contacted the seller and they were amazing! They re-shipped a unit one day later and check in with me every day until it came to make sure it was OK and I was happy. Some of the best customer service on Amazon. After I installed the replacement unit, I’ve had to set the unit to a higher temperature because of cool so well and at the same time is virtually silent during operation. I would rate this 5 stars but for two things. 1. Instructinos are poorly written and does not include information about charging (pressures, etc) and 2. Customer service doesn't answer emails, or at least mine. It was easy to install, but I'd recommend watching the video several times to be sure you understand how to do each step. The wall guide and wall plate are set up to use 12" centers, not 16 or 20 inch centers like most structure are. When you get ready to seal the opening you drilled and put the tunes through, I recommend using some foam sealer to make sure it's fully sealed. While you are wrapping the line set, I recommend that you put a piece of blue tap to hole the wrap from un wrapping every few feet. That way if you let go or something, you only have a few wraps that need to be redone. Otherwise it runs well, does a great job at heating and cooling, and it was priced well for what you get.

Had several questions for seller related to lineset length and factory charge and seller responded through Amazon messaging in a timely manner with useful information (rare nowadays) Only running for 2 days so far but everything working well so far. EPA 608 holder and retired maintenance supervisor so not a complicated install and was blessed to own all necessary equipment. It is necessary to test for leaks (I pressurized lines and indoor unit with nitrogen) and then dumped nitrogen and vacuumed lines and indoor unit down, then verify vacuum holds before releasing refrigerant (R32) contained in outside unit into lines and inside unit. Lines are metric size (#6 & #9) so if lines need to be spliced or extended metric flare tools are required. Otherwise totally basic, no frills unit that exceeded my expectations at this price point. Inside unit shipped pressurized with nitrogen to ensure dryness and integrity of evaporator unit. Inside and outside units packaged well, slight damage to boxes but no damage to units. Metal finish trim grills are replaced by plastic mesh (I assume as cost and weight saving measure) but mesh will serve the purpose and I enjoy saving money. The electrical cover is fastened with 2 screws at top and one at the bottom and the provided knockouts for the electric conduit connections are too large if they are knocked out. Recommend drilling proper size hole in these knockouts with step bit to avoid fitment issues. Related issue is single bottom screw ends up being nearly inaccessible behind conduits, would be better if there were screws at the bottom of the electrical cover that matched the top locations. Overall, minor concerns and running great so far 2 days in. Will comment further if any problems develop down the road.

This mini split has exceeded all of my expectations. Installation went smoothly, and once it was running, the difference was immediately noticeable. It cools the room within minutes and provides steady, comfortable heat when temperatures drop. I also love that it runs on 110/120V, making it much easier to install without major electrical upgrades. The remote control is simple to use, and adjusting the temperature is effortless. It's an efficient, reliable system that I would definitely recommend.

Install is easy and straightforward. User manual is EXTREMELY detailed. Having advice ranging from "don't stick your hand in the cold air or use this for cooking, idiot" to specific torque specs for the flare fittings, wiring diagrams, and step by step install instructions including how to vacuum it. I do NOT recommend installing it with the pipes hidden behind the shroud. There is too little space and it's way too hard to mount the unit when you can't see how the pipes are in the way. Use the side knock out so they can't block you mounting the unit. Pipes are a little short, but this is the cheapest unit on Amazon. If you are running the indoor unit directly above the outdoor one, this is perfect so you don't have loops. So far I'm extremely satisfied with the packaging/instructions/quality of everything. Finished the vacuum/charging and it works great. Pulls around 12 amps at max load and the indoor unit is literally whisper quiet. Way more effieicent than mechanical ACs. If there is a 1 degree difference this will run at 10% to fix it, instead of running at 100% like old AC units. saves tons of energy. Install difficulty isn't too hard for anyone who uses tools or does DIY. install hoses in indoor unit, wrap them, install indoor unit, install outdoor unit, hook up pipes/electrical, vacuum, close, and release charge. I like their instructions step where they say to partially release the high line refrigerant. This means your lines go from vacuum to slight pressure, so when you disconnect the vacuum pump, no air gets into the system. Very good idea.

Works great! Nice and cool. 2 issues: the flare at one end of the 6mm tube broke and had to be re-flared. Also,there was a screw missing from the grate for the outdoor unit. Quiet operation. The lines are just 9 foot long and are metric.
