Tasted as good and was better than some frozen lasagna. Noodles did not turn out gummy and the meat sauce was good. Was it as good as your neighborhood Italian place? No, but for someone who travels a lot or primitive camps out it’s a very nice go to. I love everything about this meal to me. This is top of the line survival food you can make meals with the right stuff and the prices just right.

I've sampled about four different Mountain House meals so far. This is the best one so far. It's very good. I enjoy it about as much as I'd enjoy a canned or frozen lasagna, so I think I'd have to go to an Italian restaurant to do better than this. Honestly I have to avoid the temptation to eat these every day. Preparation is simple. You just pour boiling water and eat it out of the bag. The nice thing about Mountain House is they have a shelf life that spans multiple decades. So if I buy a bunch of these, I can feel secure that I'll live a little longer and in comfort when the zombie apocalypse comes. ... show more
