Great value especially when you catch their $279 cyber sale. I keep these and their other varieties for long term food storage, hiking, camping, traveling, for lunch’s, or just not wanting to cook at home. But this bundle is impossible to beat… especially when I catch them on sale. haven’t had a bad tasting menu item and I’ve taste tested many (those in and not in this bundle) including Mac and Cheese which I anticipated to be like Kraft with fake cheese but it was not… it was homemade style, super real cheesy, and pretty darn good. Most are adequately seasoned but I do like to season some meals up a bit… but that’s what seasonings are for right… to adjust to your individual taste. Got this 14 day kit on sale for $279. Wish I had bought several now because price changed a day later. This food tastes good lasts 30 years and if prices keep rising like they have they are sort of like a small investment.

Have not eaten any yet but they have good reviews from those who have. The packets seem sturdy. The meals are expensive compared to other survival food, but these have meat in them where others don't. If you want any meat, you have to buy more supplies.

Not a great value; 1700 calories per day at a cost of about $30 per day at current costs. That said, mountain house food quality and packaging is unsurpassed. It keeps forever and all the meals taste good, but probably makes more sense to go with #10 cans unless you're only buying enough for a few weeks and don't want to have to do any thinking about what to buy. ... show more
