I bought two of these blinds, one at a time. I was so impressed which is why I bought the second one. They’re well-made, they work well as blackout curtains however one needs to keep in mind that there is a space between the blinds and the window frame so a slight amount of light leakage exists around the edges. The only way you could eliminate this light leakage would be to place a foam strip, a cloth barrier, or wooden trim to seal off this light. It’s not the fault of the blinds. My only concern with battery operated blinds was how long would the batteries last? I installe the factory supplied batteries in April the blinds are 36 inches wide and they go down 5 feet so they do not extend the full distance nor are they as wide as can be purchased, obviously, how far the blind goes down and how wide the blind is would affect the load on the batteries. My batteries have lasted five months with no discernible change in power on the blind… this is entirely acceptable. You need to keep in mind, though that each blind has six batteries so I would recommend buying a large pack of batteries from Amazon or at Costco so that you have at least 12 spares ready. Also, I advise against using rechargeable lithium batteries in this application as I’ve learned that rechargeable lithiums in standard size sizes usually last half as long as a standard alkaline battery, removing them and charging them to be a real pain… stick with for this application. Installation was easy. One needs to think a little bit about whether you even need to use screws, I installed with the double stick mounts provided and have had no issues whatsoever with looseness, blinds falling or lack of stability. It’s easy to remove the blinds and put them back up and battery changing requires this, however, it’s not complicated. It would’ve been nice if one control could be used for both blinds, but that’s not the case and if you decide that you wanna hook this up through the Internet to your phone, you need to get a hub and none of my hubs apply. It’s easier just to push the button on the remote which is mounted on my headboard than it is to get the phone open up an app and push a button. I highly recommend these blinds to anyone desiring to keep out the morning some or street lamps. The only negative side is I sleep so well that I’m getting up hours later since being retired I don’t use an alarm clock.!

These are great. I bought the hub also which is nice because I can program it to automatically shut at a certain time and there’s other qualifiers as well if you need. You can also program multiple to the same remote which is nice. Two of mine got stuck working together so I probably need to uninstall and reinstall one but honestly it works good enough the way it is that I just haven’t bothered. (and if you’re wondering why one side goes up a little bit higher it’s because I have a camera in that corner so I was able to program it to not interrupt that camera which is also nice. And I didn’t put the header on the right and left one yet that’s why they look a little bit different than the middle).

These blinds are awesome! Needed them for a small window in my kitchen, and they were easy to install and work wonderfully. They are light weight and are light blocking.

These so called “smart blinds” are the biggest Piece of crap! Don’t waste your money. The remote directions to program the movement of the blinds are not clear. The buttons you need to push you can’t see they are so small. Forget programming multiple blinds; you can’t get one to move. I tried watching YouTube but all the blinds have different remotes with different sequences. I would like to meet the people who said it took 15 minutes. I’m already on 4 hours for 3 blinds. If your eyesight isn’t good you will have a very difficult time as you can see by my photos you need to remove the battery back to get to the programming buttons. Then there is a small thin plastic cutout that you need to push. See the picture. You can’t tell if it’s pushed in or not and if you push to hard you might break it. Don’t waste your money.

These are some great motorized blinds. However, the store page seems to miss a ton of details that would have made me feel way more comfortable pulling the trigger on ordering them. Here is some valuable information that everyone should know going in: -=External Hardware (Included!)=- These blinds DO indeed come with external hardware. My windows simply are not built for the Internal Installation- using the pressure based 3M Sticky Block. The external hardware was very easy to work with, and came with these spring loaded tabs for easy removal down the line. Screws and wall anchors were also included (this is pictured in my images) -=3rd Party Hub Compatibility (Works!) - ()=- I took a chance and bought a Broadlink RM4 Pro that claims to work universally with Fixed Code RF devices. I was able to setup the Hapadif Blinds with ease by cloning the signal from the included remote. For those wondering, I paired my two Hapadif Blinds with one of the remotes first, and then I cloned the signal of the remote to the RM4 Pro. -=Batteries Included=- Lastly, each Hapadif blind came with a 6 AA batteries for the blinds, and 2 AAA batteries for the remote (Model AC2200/AC2201 Series Remote - 433Mhz). -=Conclusion=- So far I am very satisfied with these black-out blinds. I will update this review if I run into any issues with blinds down the line.
