I bought these curtains because I live in Texas where it gets to 115 during the summer months and my room was being turned into a tanning booth. After putting these curtains up, I was able to sleep in longer because the curtains blocked out about 85% of the light and my AC wasn’t working as hard to keep my apartment from getting over 80*F.
