Was considering Lutron Caseta shades to match the caseta switches in my house but all I really wanted was sun up/down control. These work great at a fraction of the price. Deducted a star for ease of use and extra equipment required to integrate into a smart home environment. You need a smart hub of some kind to learn and emulate the remote to get it to work with any automation. Not a plug and play solution for the less tech savvy, however they will still work as remote controlled blinds just fine

The media could not be loaded. This is the second one we have purchased. I started with one just to see the quality and liked it so much I ordered this second one with two more on the way. Super easy to install (for inside mount, can’t speak to outside mount). Took me longer to unpack it then to install it. I do wish the up and down went faster but that’s hardly something to complain about

This motorized blind offered two installation options: drill-free or drilled. Due to my window's design, I chose the drilled installation, which took only five minutes following the provided instructions. It's powered by three pre-installed AA batteries, and replacing them appears to be straightforward. The included remote control allows for easy raising and lowering of the blind. The light-blocking effect is excellent. I would recommend it

Many of the other reviews state the inside mounting is easy. It essentially works by a tension spring that hold the shade up by pushing outward (in a lateral direction) against the drywall. I found the spring to be pretty weak, and the blinds would fall down within a few days. The set screw didn't really help much. If the blinds included better a "inside" mounting solution (ie, brackets that could be screwed into the drywall or window header), I'd rate these much higher. Otherwise, the blinds work as advertised.
