Do you have an action cam? Do you use a lot of 3/8"-equipped gear? Get one. Get more than one. Keep them everywhere. It's that useful. I don't know why the action cam companies don't include these with their kits. The quality is excellent ... no plastic bits, nice little metal bit.

Out of the package the build quality & fit and finish of these feels amazing. The issue is that no matter how much you tighten your GoPro hardware, the GoPro will not fully tighten down like it will on plastic adapters. You can still move the GoPro forward and back. Aluminum sounded like a great idea for durability, but I think that plastic adapters have more 'grip' to the GoPro's plastic - in spite of their reduced durability. Because of this fatal flaw these will be returned and I'll order some more plastic ones. Such a shame,
