No need to switch on/off physically. Plug and Play! (Tips: 1. Keep the switch on. 2. You can adjust the Angle and Height of the bulb installation, and make the sensor toward the direction people to increase the bulb's sensitivity)
  • Dusk to Dawn SensorBuilt-in photocell sensor makes motion sensor light bulb automatically turn ON in the dark (<15lux) when motion sensor is activated and turn OFF during the daytime (>40lux) even with motion detected. Sensitive energy saver
Color: Daylight Size: (Motion Sensor)3 Pack
I purchased 2 packages of 6 motion sensor bulbs from this seller. They were installed in my garage without windows. They work perfectly. They light up immediately when the inside door opens and automatically tunr off shortly after you leave the garage. They don't turn on when the garage door opens since they detect both light and motion. Two bulbs stopped working after over a year of heavy usage because the motion sensor broke. I thought this would be normal but tried to contact the seller reporting the problem. They sent me a whole new package with three bulbs for replacement. The seller has been on Amazon for a long time and truly backs up their products. I do recommend the seller and their products. ... show more

Bright, very handy motion-activated dusk-to-dawn indoor-outdoor bulb
Color: Daylight Size: (Motion Sensor)3 Pack
Great bulb that combines dusk-to-dawn and motion-activated features. The motion activation isn't adjustable - you can't point it to a specific target area as you can with a separate sensor - but if you have existing old-style fixtures near a door or walkway entrance this is a great way to add these features with no new wiring required. ... show more

Sensor isn't that great, but customer service is exceptional!
Color: Daylight Size: (Motion Sensor)3 Pack
UPDATE: A company representative reached out to me, asking if i’d like to try their dusk to dawn bulbs. I politely declined since I mainly utilize the garage during daylight hours, making those bulbs unsuitable for my needs. Despite this, our conversation remained highly professional, during which I shared some suggestions for improving the product. Impressively, they not only offered a full refund, but also included smart bulbs as a gift. Its worth noting that my initial review was written without any expectation of refunds or gifts, yet it genuinely portrays my experience. However, it’s their outstanding customer service that compelled me to revisit and append an additional two stars to my rating. ORIGINAL: I installed these in my garage as that is the only place in my house that I consistently forget to turn the light switch off so I figured ordering these lightbulbs will save me money in the long run. The brightness is great, but the sensor not so much. It takes about three or so seconds of me walking around in the dark for the sensor to detect me and it'll turn off roughly at the 30 second mark. Unless you are moving around on the 30th second, the light seems to turn off. This is very annoying as I could be displaying movement for the first 29 seconds, but if it does not detect movement on the 30th, it'll turn off when it should be restarting the internal timer every time it detects a movement regardless of the time interval. I've also noticed that the light will only turn on at night and not during the day. (even though the garage is pretty dark during the day with the blinds closed) ... show more

Great Motion Sensitive Lightbulbs
Color: Daylight Size: (Motion Sensor)3 Pack
I recently incorporated motion sensing lightbulbs into my detached garage, and the convenience they bring to my daily routine is nothing short of impressive. These bulbs have proven to be the perfect solution for instances where turning the light on and off manually would be inconvenient. Automatic Illumination: 5/5 Stars The standout feature of these motion sensing lightbulbs is their ability to provide automatic illumination. In my detached garage, where I pull my car out in the morning to head to work, these bulbs have become an integral part of my routine. As soon as I open the garage, the light turns on automatically, creating a well-lit environment for a seamless start to my day. Once I leave the garage, the lights intelligently turn off, eliminating the need for any manual operation. Energy-Efficient Design: 5/5 Stars The sensitivity of these lightbulbs to ambient light is a key aspect that sets them apart. In situations where the area is not completely dark, such as when my garage door is open during daylight hours, the bulbs remain off, contributing to significant energy savings. This feature not only enhances their practicality but also aligns with a commitment to sustainability. Easy Installation and Longevity: 5/5 Stars Installing these motion sensing lightbulbs was a breeze, requiring no complicated setup. The bulbs are built to last, providing a reliable and long-lasting solution for my garage lighting needs. In conclusion, these motion sensing lightbulbs have seamlessly integrated into my daily routine, making them an invaluable addition to my detached garage. Their automatic activation and deactivation, coupled with energy-efficient design and easy installation, make them a practical choice for spaces where convenience and sustainability are top priorities. I highly recommend these bulbs for anyone looking to enhance their lighting experience in spaces where manual control is impractical. ... show more

Works well until it stops working.
Color: Warm White Size: (Dusk to Dawn)3 Pack
Purchased 4 packs (3 bulbs each) to use in my outdoor fixtures. The brightness was great the the day/night sensing worked awesome! Unfortunately 9 of the 12 bulbs have failed within 3 months. Even with the relatively low cost I'd rather find a bulb that doesn't need changing so often.

Used on front door and it’s used a lot with no flaws. Only turns on at night in a very dark area.

Work great!
Color: Daylight Size: (Motion Sensor)3 Pack
UPDATE: I decided not to return, put one into pantry and two into hallway. Too bad it didn’t work in the garage. Otherwise, those are great! ORIGINAL REVIEW: 1. I put one into garage. The space between the kitchen/garage door is about 8 feet. You have to go directly to the bulb & waive your hands for the bulb to go on. It is installed as directed, i.e. sensor down. 2. I understand the process now yet disappointed: most cars have automatic lights. When you drive into the garage - the bulb doesn’t go on as there’s a lot of light from the vehicle. I am assuming this is because the lightbulbs are dusk till dawn. Car has lights on = lightbulb thinks it’s day time. 3. Works well in the pantry though. Thus 3 stars out of 5. 4. The light color and brightness are good. ... show more
