One of my friends told me that this helped them get up and moving after their C-Section comfortably. I had been using the binder from the hospital, but it was beginning to wear. She let me try on her small, and that was not big enough. I looked at the pant sizes and ordered a medium, a size larger than pre-pregnancy. That one was also too small, so I returned and ordered a large (since exchange was not an option). The large fits my hips and waist well, but I can’t button the top clasp because it’s too tight around my ribs, and the leg holes are too large. Overall it’s worth it to help me get out and about, but no size has really fit me well. I am 5’3” and post partum I am 160 pounds now, but losing weight as I heal. Pre-pregnancy I was a size 4 and 145 pounds.

This is the second pair I ordered. My daughter had a C-section and out of all the bands we bought for her, they all didn’t really feel comfortable. This eliminated the need for a band because this provided enough compression, yet also lifted. Has helped tremendously with the healing process. Would definitely recommend this.

Dislike there are 5 bra type hooks prior to zipper which is complicated when first recovering from child birth. The legs don't feel too tight but they compress so you can see them under leggings/tight fitting pants. Otherwise, these are worth the money and make me feel snuggled in without too much compression during my healing

Beware: The sizing chart posted on the item description does NOT match the product. Product has a measurement for "lower back". Using that, I measured and it said I needed a medium. The moment I saw the back of the actual product, I knew it wouldn't fit when it has waist and HIP measurements. Hips arents the same as "lower back". I'm not even going to bother to open this, just by the chart alone I can see I need a XL. That's quite a difference. I hope this chart helps someone because now I have to figure out how to return/exchange this with a newborn and recovering from a C-section.

So far I’ve only had this about a week. It fits great in order a XS a few the of the reviews stated it ran a bit big so I played it on the safe side. I really like it so far the only thing I dislike is at the bottom of where the zipper sits on the inside there some discomfort like something poking my thigh I’ve tried adjusting a couple times but I’m not sure if it’s just the way the zipper was put on or what but I think I could work with it. So far it does its job I had a different one that a family member gave me and it wasn’t really tightening at the belly area and this was definitely does I’m really happy with the purchase I am 2wks postpartum.

The strap broke first time trying it on I tried to wear it without it but threw out the day it just keeps rolling down the zipper is on the side and it digs in at times it dose have an anti roll up on the bottom inner shorts part it definitely holds its spot but my skin got really irritated have a bright red line going across both my thighs been having it for a week now, and in the crotch area it’s actually really grate compared to other ones I have it’s has grate coverage front to back an it has a big opening when having to go and very comfortable no digging in on the inner thigh not having to keep adjusting through out the day that’s the best part of this unfortunately it’s the only grate thing in my experience.

I bought this after undergoing a c-section. It definitely helped shrink my uterus during the first 8 weeks after delivery. I didn’t wear it at night, just during the day which also made me look a little thinner in dresses. I started with a medium and then bought the small because I realized it needed to be tight! I was 170 lbs when I bought the medium but as soon as I got down to 160 it wasn’t really pulling me in enough so I bought the small. So if you can, save your money and go with the smaller size if you’re in between. I still wear the medium for a nice shape but the small definitely makes me skinnier! It’s also easy to put on and take off (zipper on side plus hooks). Only drawback is that I was still wearing thick maxi pads so the crotch opening was useless but I ended up using it later on after I didn’t need the pads. If the pads are thick enough, the crotch opening won’t matter.
