The only complaint is that the 2016 Explorer Sport has different widths between the rails for the front and rear cross bars. The cross bars also come in different lengths. However, the rear appeared to be about 1/2 inch shorter than necessary. Removed one of the mounting screws to extend the rear cross bar. Like a lot of others have stated, the bars don’t fit in the middle slots (like pictures and in instructions). If you take out the washers from the middle bar, it gives you just enough room to make them long enough to get the screws in. Poor design- just making slots would have made it adjustable and soooooo much easier to install in either position on the car. Product was nicely packaged and came with everything to install. The instructions are very basic and shouldn't be too hard to understand. However, the placement of the bars on my vehicle is where it gets tricky. My bars only fit in the 1,2 position (very front) - bars are not labeled FYI and at the 5,6 position (very back). There is an option on the vehicle and instructions to mount in the 3,4 position (middle), but the rear bar is too short to extend across to reach. Installing in the rear also was a bit tight and awkward. Do NOT tighten anything up until you test fit. This way you can ensure a true fit between each side. A good set of cross bars and easy to install. Looks great, not bulky or too obvious. One set back, I wish the instructions were better detailed. With some hand tools and common sense I was able to install in about 30min.

I ordered this item twice (returned first) b/c one of the crossbars came shorter than the other & isn't long enough to fit. The second order came the same way. I tried to make it work & perhaps could w/ more pads. Also, the bolts have come loose & came off while driving.
