Works very well for its intended use. However, when nothing is on the racks the whistle that comes from them is insane. The day after install I left to go to work and had a heart attack because I thought my car was about to blow up. Good product. Very sturdy. Love the color to match my GC. I installed them in the beginning of July and just recently I began to notice a whistle while driving. Today while on the freeway passing under bridges, it was a very loud whistle. Thankfully I have my windows tinted because it’s a little embarrassing to be honest. The instructions said to look for a marking that said “FORWARD “ no such markings on the product. Had to resort to You-Tube to figure out which was the front edge

    • Decent basic crossbars
Decent basic bars; construction seems generally good, parts all fit. Instructions are indeed a joke - literally, several steps are covered with "Install the crossbars." Actually pretty easy - key fact is that there is a bracket that fits in the rail that will drop out when you remove the first bolt. Take the first bolt out, per the instructions, loosen but do not remove the second, which lets the mount move slightly. Put the bracket into the rail; fit the crossbar over, then put the first bolt back. Have not put anything particularly heavy on them yet. Don't notice much wind noise but they certainly reduce fuel economy. Installed on 2017 Grand Cherokee. ... show more
