As the feedback goes, it does take two or three spot tries to get the setting you will be comfortable with. Having the t-handle helps with movement and control when using the device. The order arrived in less than two days. Much fancier packaging than other choices. The instruction manual as well as the printed card were perfect. Not only does it show you how to use the product it shows you how not to use the product. In about 20 applications, you will notice results. After about 40 applications you will be finished… If you figure it’s good for 1 million pulses. You could share it with your friends and family…. Don’t forget to use the sunglasses and don’t pulse more than three times in one spot at one time. Just keep it on automatic for convenience sake. This product definitely gives you the feeling that it’s working because you feel the burn you feel the popping you feel like it’s taken care of those hairs on your face, but is it really I haven’t seen any results yet? I’m still busy trying to see where he’s working in. Give me a break from having to either Shave lightly. Before using the unit. Instantly waiting to see when I can stop using it for a while because it literally is killing the hair follicles in places that you don’t need hair it as a woman.. I've been using this IPL device at least three times a week on my neck (trying to get rid of the neck beard), some parts of my face, and a couple of other locations (below the belt). I've been following the instructions, and have it set at the highest setting, and haven't seen any appreciable results in the eight weeks I've been using it. I may keep trying, but so far I'm pretty disappointed with it. For reference, I'm a Caucasian person with relatively dark hair (and a little bit of grey), so my skin and hair match good conditions for the product to work correctly. It doesn't hurt most of the time when you have it flash. There are a couple of places on my neck that it does sting for a bit, but not enough to bother too much. Other areas just feel intensely warm for a fraction of a second. It is pretty easy to use, just hasn't been effective. The manufacturer's customer service department has been asking me how they could improve my experience, but honestly I don't think there is much that could be done. My hair just must be a bad match for this tool. Looks like a bunch of other people have had better results, so your results may vary. I bumped up my review from a 1* to a 3* mostly because the customer service has been responsive, though I still haven't seen any measurable results from my use of the device. I stopped using is a little while back, but may try another round soon to see if I have better results after another 8-12 weeks. ... show more
