I love functionality and decoration combined! This is the second tea set I’ve bought with the idea in mind to start a tradition with my grade school age grandkids; 2 of them in particular, come over most Saturdays after their morning Karate class. If the idea didn’t take with them, no loss as the tea set is inexpensive for the quality of fine bone porcelain china. My grandsons took to it immediately, the 6 year old likes drinking hot cocoa and the 8 year old likes decaffeinated tea. Something delicate for them to do with me for lunch, having “afternoon tea”, including the etiquette rules are like a game to them to get it right as they are a bit competitive lol, then when finished and leave the table, go back to being rough and tumble little boys. I’ve also purchased the 3 tier cake stand that matches perfectly from the same company Mostden, for our various tea sandwiches! I am always coming up with different ideas to do with them, to keep them from getting bored and keep them off the video games, in fact they stopped bringing their video games. So far over the past 10 weeks, every time they come over THEY ASK ME, if we can have a tea party! This is a beautiful tea set. The gold accent is beautiful. The only surprising thing is they have sent 4 teaspoons that are silver. I would’ve expected gold colored teaspoons. One star off for that.
