I like this doorbell I like how it records a few seconds of everyone that passes in front. It's cute it tells me if it's an animal that had passed in front by putting a little paw print by the video. I am not very handy with home projects, but the Morecam doorbell was a snap to mount and set up. The software for our cell phones works fine. I love seeing and talking to the person at the door through the phone app whether we are at home or at remote locations. The separate battery-powered chime is handy, also, to alert us to someone at the door like a traditional doorbell. I do wish we could power the chime more constantly without batteries that run down, such as through a USB connection, but the volume falls off gradually as the batteries wear out and it doesn't suddenly quit working. ... show more

I looked at ring for a very long time and then I saw this one and the reviews and it’s fantastic and it does screenshots of everybody that enters and exits my home. It alerts me on my iPhone and I watch the only thing that I would say was get a Sim card for it because you cannot playback video if you do not have a Sim card but it is Wi-Fi and it does have a charger so you just have to remove it from the mount and charge it from time to time, but the battery life is quite long, so I’m very pleased with the item ... show more
