  • Needs nylon locking front tire bolts
Color: Quartz Purple Style: 350w 24" Cruiser, 7-speed
Seat was hard and nylon locking bolts for the front tire would be advised as the ones it came with rattled loose and the hub started spinning, ripping the power connection apart and bending the cord pegs. Otherwise, the wife loves it.

  • Definitely worth it.
I purchased this trike to assist with my rehabilitation following hip and back surgery. While professional PT returned me to functionality, I needed additional exercise to return my legs to full strength. This allows me to pedal to a point where I think I'm finished for the day and then electric motor my way back home. I don't have to worry about having the leg strength to make it all the way back. - Shipping in two boxes created one concern. The box with the battery arrived about a week prior to the box with the trike itself. The battery charger was NOT included in the box with the battery, generating concern on my part. When the box with the trike arrived, the battery charger WAS included in that box. - All necessary tools for basic assembly were included with the trike. HOWEVER, having a metric socket wrench set and a good size screw driver (flat head and phillips head) definitely made assembly easier. - With my medical health, it took me about 6 hours total over two days to assemble it (I'm 70 years old). A young to middle-aged person should be able to assemble it in about 3 hours. - Some significant portions of the trike were pre-assembled. All three wheels had tires with tubes installed already mounted. All I had to do was inflate the tires. The motor hub was already installed in the front wheel. - Fit and finish is excellent. There were zero issues of bolt holes aligning. All welds look to be smooth and sturdy. Paint appears to be uniform and high quality. Protective cardboard or plastic film was present in all packaging to ensure no parts rubbed against each other. - The instruction pamphlet was at least 95% inherently clear and understandable. I highly recommend downloading the PDF pamphlet from their website to familiarize yourself with it prior to receiving the trike. - DEFINITELY tighten down the front wheel lugs!!!! Failure to do this could result in the lugs backing out and the front wheel spinning the electrical umbilical rather than the wheel. (Sad personal experience here.) - As far as operation goes. They recommend not taking turns at greater than 15 kph (roughly 9.5 mph). However, I can tell you that depends on the tightness of the turn. For a standard turn on a sidewalk at a block corner, then not more than 5 kph (3 mph) is what I would recommend as the max. The relatively narrow track of the rear wheels and the high center of gravity won't allow for much more. - Range depends on the flatness of the driving route. 25 miles may not be achievable depending on the amount of hills on the route, whether using speed range 1, 2, or 3, total weight (rider and cargo) being carried, etc. I have not ridden to full range yet, so I can't say for sure. All in all, I find it to be a fun, enjoyable trike, whether you power it yourself with the pedals, or you cruise in comfort using the electric motor. I'm glad I made this purchase. ... show more

  • There is a learning curve
Color: Air Blue Style: 500w 20x4in Fat Tire, 7-speed
Very different than an e bike. Really had to get used to the steering. This bike is fast and the throttle is touchy. It is not 75% put together. My son came over to put it together and instead we took it to the bike shop and for $150 they put it together. Overall it is alot of fun. Would definately highly recommend. A good solid bike. ... show more

  • Quick response
Color: Quartz Purple Style: 350w 24" Cruiser, 7-speed
Trike took some time to put together but went together well. I had an issue with damage to the seat. I made contact with the seller who had a quick response to my concern. After a few texts back and forth to get them the information they needed a replacement seat was sent out. In the week I have had it I received the replacement and it is now installed. Very happy with how they handled it and would be likely to buy from them again. ... show more

  • It comes with some ups and some Downs
For the most part I've enjoyed my trike the only thing I haven't enjoyed is trying to get replacement parts you need an act of Congress and you know how that goes nowadays.

  • Had it Assembled by a pro bike shop
Overall met expectations. Being used in a rural area on paved roads. Seat could be more comfortable, getting a new one. Riding and power assist work fine, trike riding VERY different from bike. Trike better for seniors. Assembly cost $200 by bike shop. Shop had to explain how it works, no instructions either in the box or online. Same with battery charging. All straightforward to do, after its explained or figured out. ... show more
