I ordered this cart to use in my newly remodeled barn room apartment. Since the shipping box did not have any obvious damage, I did not open when I put box in the apartment, as I wasn't through with remodel. Yesterday, I opened box and started putting cart together, before actually checking for any damages. I did notice a hole under the top, but wasn't concerned, as it would not be seen. The bottom shelf also had a dent underneath, but again, would not be seen. Once I finished putting the cart together and installing the wheels, I pulled cart out of shipping box and stood it up. It wasn't very sturdy, but I really liked the cart, until I turned it around to back side and noticed the top of table corner was very dented and sharp. Sadly, where I had originally planned on using it, the dented area would definitely be seen. Also, the locking wheels were very hard to engage. I most likely will remove the wheels. Had I not missed the Amazon return deadline by 5 days, I would have returned this cart. My loss though for not opening box when arrived to inspect! Very disappointed by the quality of this cart and I'm assuming it was damaged BEFORE shipping! ... show more

I would have gave this product a five if not for the thin metal on top. You can see from the photographs how thin the metal is, other than that it's a nice sturdy table. Has beefy casters. Easy to assemble. Mine was not scratched.

The reason for the 4 stars is that the table metal top arrived with 2 dented areas. The shipping box itself did not have any obvious damage. This makes me think item was dented prior to boxing it. I decided to not returned item as the areas involved DID NOT affect its function and this was intended for work not for esthetic purposes. The table otherwise appears sturdy and very functional. Like the ability to move the table around and then lock the wheels. Sturdy enough for the use we were looking for and has a lower shelf for other items needed. Since it is stainless steel it is easy to clean, but can scratch which is not an issue since it is used for our pantry.
