It’s not a lifeline, to be sure, but for occasional rigging, or general need of strong rope, you simply cannot go wrong with this. This is one of many vevor braided poly ropes I have. I’ve used my 5/8 rope to hoist a 4,800# slab of concrete out of an 8’ foundation excavation. These things are strong, very abrasion resistant and stabile. Colors are fine, but just go with the brightest one you can. It makes life easier especially if you’re dealing with a long tag end, to know where it’s at. Been using this rope to climb trees as well as pull them down. I tie it up as high as I can get in trees that are leaning toward a building and use a tractor to pull the trees in the opposite direction as I cut. The rope has been working very well for my purposes and shows no signs of fraying or other dangerous wear. I bought this thickness to pull a tree down with my truck. Worked like charm. Tree was 6" x 24' spruce too close to the building. Pulled it right out of the ground. I cut three 70' pieces and whipped the ends with sailmaker twine. You can melt it too with a propane torch.
