After spending about an hour and a half unpacking and assembling, we discovered that the gazebo was not going to fit on our 10x10 attached porch. I had been very careful when choosing a gazebo that would fit our porch, specifically because different brands measure dimensions differently. Some 10x10 gazebos are 10 betwen the base of the posts, and some are 10 across the edges of the canopy. This product provided a "helpful " diagram with measurements - but the measurements were incorrect. The diagram showed the canopy to be just shy of 10 feet square, with legs closer to 9 feet - but in reality it is the legs which are 10 feet square, with the canopy being closer to 11 feet sqare. Luckily the free return on this item includes UPS pickup, also at no cost. The materials and construction of the gazebo frame looked good, as did the canopy itself. The plastic hangars for the curtains appeared to be very fragile though, but it would be easy to upgrade to something sturdier. Altogether, just disappointed in the product description - the product itself would have met our needs except for the size.

It took my husband several hours to assemble this gazebo but it looks beautiful now that it’s up and has really changed the space, giving it a nice and relaxing vibe. It’s held up well so far to strong winds and rain, however we did notice a bit of rust already starting to form in a few places on the frame. When we take the canopy down for the winter we are going to clean off all the rust spots and coat the entire frame with a couple layers of protectant spray to prevent this from happening again. The canopy is water resistant already, but we sprayed it with waterproofing spray just to be sure before putting it up and haven’t seen any water come through at all, not even after a driving rain. If you are investing in this model, I’d suggest applying an outdoor rust protectant to all the metal parts before you assemble it and then do a touch up over any areas you may not have gotten well after you put it up. Personally I also use a waterproof and sun protectant spray (the kind you get for tents) on the canopy or any patio umbrellas we get, and I think it’s helped them last a little longer. I’d suggest just looking over the metal canopy frame and giving it a fresh protective coating before winter, then every spring touch it up again and wash and re-coat your canopy top with waterproofing spray before you put it up for the season

Very easy to assemble thanks to the main posts being two pieces that bolt together and the top being snap together. I was able to assemble the entire top without a ladder, then had my wife assist to attatch the lower post pieces to bring it to it's final height. The issue that I did have with assembly was that three of the snap in pieces did not line up with their corresponding holes, so I was faced with a choice: disassemble and return the whole thing and find out that they were no longer in stock, (There was no customer service number or email option to get replacement parts), or drill new holes and paint it to prevent rust. I went with the latter and am very happy with the canopy. The fabric seems very robust and I love the "pull loop" sewn into one corner of the top and pull hook (provided) to help get the fourth corner nested onto the last arm (without getting a finger caught in there). The size is perfect, we fit a table & 6 chairs under it, and the height is tall enough that nobody will bump their head. I attatched tie downs at all four corners (attatched at the lower post/ crossarm attachment point) and added velcro attatched bags filled with sand to the bottom of all four posts. This has proven to be a very sturdy setup as the canopy has been rock solid through several very windy storms.

The four sections on opposite sides of the center, the fabric stretches and pools with water when it rains. This pulls the whole fabric out of whack, letting rain come in around the opening at the top. Otherwise we are very happy with it. Looking for a way to rig it so it doesn't pool up with water.

The media could not be loaded. Very well packaged all parts in the box. Putting it together was fun. I did it with a friend of mine who happened to be with me, so I recommend having a second pair of hands, even, or 3 people would be super easy. It took most the day to put up. I slept underneath this canopy in the summer, and it did a great job at upholding through all weather. I did strap it down since sometimes the Santa Ana winds would reach incredibly high speeds but overall, it did great! This Gazebo is so darn beautiful. The color is great outside and matches a lot of my other gear that I already own. Its neutral enough to go almost anywhere. It was such a great addition to our back yard. This gazebo has clean look and feel with plenty of space and it waterproof. It has rained a lot and the inside has remained very dry. We added a nice outdoor weatherproof mat and a hammock inside and will be placing a small table and foldable chairs as well. It is a great space for watching movies, outdoors on our portable projector and outdoor screen and makes an awesome entertaining spot for friends and family. I cannot say enough good things about this well-made gazebo. You will absolutely love it like I do. I know I am over the moon about it and people keep complimenting how nice it is and how jealous they are that we have such a nice outdoor relaxing spot. We are thinking to maybe buy another one for the house. I gave it 5 stars for quality, fast shipping, easy set up and how it looks. Had a little storm with wind. The canopy did not move one bit. The heavy rain just rolled off and did not puddle on the top.

I like the look of it, that I was able to put it up by myself, and that it has been up for two months and has not blown away. I do not like that in my search options I checked "waterproof" and this is not. I do not like that the color of the canopy is fading already.
