    • Poor performance, malfunctioning
The pool vacuum charged quickly & moved very fast in the pool. However, it didn't do well over any bumps or ridges in the bottom liner; it would get stuck and stop and blink red and green colors until you pulled it out and turned it off and back on. Then 3 days later. It started blinking and wouldn't move. Now it wont turn off. The lights keep flashing and it keeps beeping no matter how many tomes i try to turn it off. I had to put it out in the garage because it was so annoying. Returning. Not sure where all these good reviews are coming from. I feel scammed. ... show more

    • Revised after 7 months
My original review is below. But now seven months later I think I might get maybe one more month out of it before I have to throw it away. The plastic is shot. Dry and cracking, pieces braking off. Another couple of weeks and I won't be able to latch the two parts together. And I do not keep it in the sun, I use it and store it away from sun. Just the wrong plastic for the application. And the rubber cover that protects the power connector from water has shrunk so badly it hardly fits. It does well at collecting large items like leaves and pine needles, but no good at all on airborn dirt that settles in the water. Absolutely cannot replace a hose-connected pool sweep. Would not buy again. Original: Overall I am surprised and impressed. It performs much better than what I expected from a battery operated device. This things streaks across my pool like it's on fire! It does not scrub the bottom as well as my hose-connect HAYWARD Navigator, but then it also costs three times less. Overall though it does indeed clean nicely. So what could be improved? First of all the wheels during assembly, how difficult would it be to cast a part number with a matching number on the housing? Assembly was confusing. Next, I would like a larger chamber for holding the junk it scarfs up, so I don't have to clean it as often. Finally, the power button should be on the top, not the bottom. So, no big deal. It runs for as long as they claim, and it charges in the time they claim. A benefit I had not thought of, but a big benefit, is that now my crud does not go into my DE filter like it does with a connected robot. That saves me having to backwash and replace DE. I hope this holds up for a couple of years, time will tell... ... show more

    • Stop working after couple months
It worked great for the whole summer and recently stopped working. It works for 15 minutes and the red light starts flashing, try to charge, shows fully charged.

    • Battery stopped working in both units I purchased
I purchased one unit first and the battery died after the first use so I returned it and ordered another one assuming it was just a defective item. The second one seemed to be working but after two months the battery died again and I can’t get it to work. A complete waste of money.

The only thing I don’t love is that when I pull it out of the pool, a lot of the debris it sucked up falls out back into the pool!! Things that would be cool- * The ability to purchase additional batteries * if it would pick up the super fine floculant But for $200 some bucks it’s pretty good. It reduces pool labor by a few hours each week. More than pays for itself. ... show more

We have a 15 foot, round above ground pool. This vacuum has been great so far. We get lots of sand and dirt in the pool due to high winds and this vacuum gets that out. I wish it would charge a little quicker, besides that we highly recommend it.
