I bought another blind made of bamboo from this company that I just love. This time, I bought plain white blinds. The slats are perfectly smooth as is the mechanics to raise the blind...no more cords to raise slats - you literally just push them up from the bottom. Very neat feature. The problem is the blinds simply don't close all the way. There's a big 1/4" gap between all the slats when completely closed. Doesn't matter if slats are pointed up or down. When I was outside looking up, I could see inside the room - particularly at night. Yikes! Also, the guide holes in slats for cords is pretty big. There's a lot of light coming in and no privacy. I put the cafe curtains back in front of the window until I figure out what to do. ... show more

Very Happy With Mood Flaux Wood Blinds. Very easy and fast put 2 up in each of the bedrooms. So much classy looking and so much more light , love the way they sit in the windowsill. The blinds don't come with the sting to pull them up or down and THAT'S THE BEST THING I LOVE ABOUT THESE BLINDS. To pull up your blinds you need to have your blinds CLOSED upward towards your window ceiling, then hold your Blinds in the middle of the bottom, then start pushing them upward, you have your Blinds fully open window. Then your ready to put down your blinds and that all you got to make sure all times your blinds are CLOSED UPWARD, then hold in the middle again and pull downwards, now you got your blinds down shut, the Roll them how you love to have your Mood Flaux Wood Blinds. They are nice blinds but they are a half inch short. The blinds also came with no mounting hardware or the adjustment rod. UPDATE: Mood made everything right with quick responses and fast shipping. Will buy all my blinds from them. Great company!
