Beautiful solution
I bought this sizeable peice of furniture as a bed/couch. the wood is beautiful and fits a twin mattress perfectly. My husband is 300 lbs and this thing is as solid as anything. It is definitely a lifetime peice of furniture, and very handsome. We have 800 sq ft and it even works in our tiny house. A real winner of a purchase. There isn't anything out there as hearty and at the same time attractive as this log daybed ... show more

Love Montana Woodworks
I admit I'm a huge fan of Montana Woodworks and their pieces go perfectly for my cabin in northern Wisconsin. They're hefty, gorgeous and handmade...no made in China labels! This daybed was easy to assemble, but is a 2 person job unless you're more dexterous than I am. And I would add, be careful with the twin mattress you use. You don't want to use one of the new pillowtop mattresses....they will cover a lot of the wood frame, which you want showing. I do want to note that packing/shipping tends to be an issue. I received this piece with a little damage to one of the corner posts. It appears that a forklift was a little 'misguided'. But it is in an area that isn't viewable, so I'm keeping it and just calling it "lumberjack ambience ". ... show more

This is a great country bed! A little difficult to put together but worth it!!! Real wood and it is lacquered so you don't have to finish it! Bonus!!!

Excellent product and a responsive seller
This thing is beautiful and solidly built. It is heavy. Had to be shipped freight. That wasn't a problem. But it took a whack somewhere along the line. The wood part was fine and undamaged. The metal springs were bent beyond repair. They took care of that within a few days. They were very responsive. The bed is beautiful and solidly built. ... show more
