Solid sound, crappy speakers. 1. It uses a MicroUSB cable to charge, but if you use ANYTHING other than the AC adapter it came with to actually take advantage of this feature, the speakers will pick up as much signal noise as they can manage. I've NEVER seen a device with this little isolation between 5 watts of power than and its audio hardware. 2. If really wants to be a bluetooth speaker. If you pair it even ONCE, it will always wake up with a loud "ATTEMPTING TO CONNECT", ignoring completely whether it's already playing sound. Several seconds later, it will complain that it couldn't find a device. There's no way to "reset" it back to factory settings once you've done this, and it's incredibly annoying. 3. Hisses when quiet. For the price range, that's crummy. So you'll want to turn it off when not in use, taking you back to problem #2. All that said, if the caveats don't both you and you see it online for cheap, you could do worse on a bluetooth speaker. ... show more

Overall this is a great portable speaker I also have the ue mini boom which has volume control in the speaker it self. I wish that this product would offer the same function if it didn't would rate it a 5 star but it doesn't I do like the fact that you can change the song on top of the speaker that's a plus. The bluetooth works amazing on this product very clear and loud along with its voice command option is a pretty sweet set up for under $100 ... show more
